The way to the hotel from the boat dock is steep but they have a complimentary tuktuk which helps if you don't want to hike up. The staff is excellent, attentive and very polite. One of the staff, Taha, stood out for us, he makes an excellent mint lemonade. The breakfast buffet has an extensive choice. Dinner choices are varied and decent tasting. Each night a dinner they have local musicians perform lovely music. Bed are comfortable.

If you are looking for the perfect retreat, that is the place to regain your peace. It is a true definition of paradise.

When I got there, they gave me a full run-through of the resort—restaurants, gym, all the facilities. The Jazoor restaurant was a real highlight: great food, beautiful Nile view, just the perfect combo. Breakfast was just as good in the lounge.
