We loved the fact that you can only reach it by boat. The staff were so helpful and we would definitely go back. It felt like an escape from reality.

Our stay in Kato Dool - Aswan was absolutely wonderful. The rooms were spacious and very comfortable, with cozy beds and a stunning view of the Nile. The entire staff was incredibly kind, attentive, and welcoming. The food was delicious, and the architecture and natural beauty of the place are truly unique. What made the experience even more special was being able to walk down to the Nile and bathe along its peaceful shores — a simple yet magical moment that created a deep sense of connection with the land. We also took a tuk-tuk to the nearby Nubian village, which added a rich cultural layer to our visit. Watching the sunrise and sunset by the room balcony was unforgettable. It was an extraordinary experience. I definitely plan to return and highly recommend it!

El Sofitel Legend Old Cataract se encuentra en el desierto de Nubia, a orillas del Nilo, frente a la isla Elefantina, y ofrece habitaciones y suites elegantes. The buildings, the rooms, the staff, the service, the view of the Nile. Everything was just perfect!

Exótico complejo ubicado en medio del Nilo, en una isla cerca del centro de Asuán. I loved the private feel of the hotel. It was very well maintained. Ms. Christine, the guest relations manager was amazing. She was nice and so respectful to my older parents and helped me deal with an issue with high priority. She made each guest feel special. I will continue to stay at this property because of her.

Sama Stars Hotel seems to be a reasonably new hotel and the owner/manager, Weal, put a lot of energy into making my stay enjoyable from start to finish. I stayed at the hotel for 3 nights. The hotel is excellent value for money. The breakfast was more than I could eat and the dinners (extra cost) were very good also. The rooms are clean and tidy but most important for me, the beds was very comfortable (not hard) and the pillows and bed linen are good quality. The shower provides plenty of hot water for my longer than average showers. People who know how noisy Cairo is, will be surprised by how quiet it is around Sama Stars. The 3 night stay gave me time to visit the Abu Simbel Temples, both during the day and in the evening for the Sound an Light Show. At my request, the hotel arranged a 4x4 trip to to see the 3 Amada site temples and the 3 Wadi Sabua temples. Sometimes you have a special moment on holiday that you cherish forever. For me, the Amada-Wadi Sabua trip is one of those. I am very grateful to Weal for organising it.

Absolutamente todo! La Paz y tranquilidad, las instalaciones, el diseño y la calidez maravillosa de su gente en especial Ghada y Dina!! Pasamos dos noches y la verdad es que nos quedamos con ganas de más. Llegar luego de largos días conociendo las maravillas de la región y tener un lugar tan agradable y confortable es un mimo!! Gracias a todo su equipo!! Pasamos unos días inolvidables!

El Tolip Aswan Hotel está situado en el centro del río Nilo y ofrece vistas al Nilo. Cuenta con gimnasio totalmente equipado, mesa de ping pong y varias opciones de entretenimiento, como bolera y... We were upgraded to a junior suite which was excellent overlooking the pool and river. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I'd like to commend the Mr. Aref and Mr. Mohamed.
