Cottage was in a calm and safe location. Even though it was advertised as a one bedroom apartment, you have a bunk bed in a 2nd room that was useful. Heating was excellent in the apartment and the Sauna as well. Drying cabinet and the sleds were quite useful. Communication with the Owner Meeri and Maintenance guy, Marko was excellent. Meeri's handbook was useful too.

The entry was convenient, we received the location and code for the keys well in advance. The location of the cabin is great, with its own parking, which is needed to get to the town center. The house is spacious, the living is beautiful and the kitchen has all the utensils you need (cutting boards, pans and pots,…).

Este hotel se encuentra a 15 minutos en coche del centro de Saariselkä y cuenta con habitaciones con vistas a las montañas Kiilopää o Ahopää. La ubicación es excepcional! En el medio de Lapland, con vistas espectaculares, alejado de la ciudad y mucha naturaleza. Se puede llegar fácilmente en autobus, importante si viajas sin auto. Hay todo tipo de actividades para divertirse en familia y el restaurante es muy bueno. Las cabañas son un sueño, vistas al bosque directas y todo lo necesario para una estancia larga y poder cocinar. Tuvimos la suerte de ver las Auroras Boreales desde la ventana de nuestro living. Simplemente hermoso!

The heating works very well, the beds are comfortable and the blankets are warm. The floors are heated and there are additional radiators in each room. There is also a clear instruction on how to start the fireplace. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking, and there is a large refrigerator. Everything was simply wonderful! The hosts replied quickly and were always very helpful and responsive. There is a transfer from Ivalo Airport that drops you off right on the street where the house is located. It’s also very convenient that there is a drying cabinet where you can dry your clothes after being out in the snow. The supermarket is about a 15-minute walk from the house. We would be happy to stay here again! The area is very quiet and peaceful — a perfect place to relax and unwind.
