Our stay at Gáldu was truly magical, from the moment we arrived we were met with such a warm welcome. The staff were so accommodating and friendly, they taught us about Finish and Sami culture which was brilliant. Our room was spotless and had the most amazing views of the forest. The Gáldu team organised excursions for us to do which were fantastic (snowmobiling, ice fishing, husky sledding) and gave us other suggestions about what to do on the days we didn’t have anything booked. The food was exceptional and we went for full board, we were truly spoiled by each person we met. Our beds were so comfortable and we had the most amazing sleep each night. We spent every afternoon enjoying the spa which was extremely luxurious. They really made our trip so special. The hotel is the perfect viewing spot for the northern lights, we saw them so clearly from our bedroom on the last night.

Even though it was advertised as a one bedroom apartment, you have a bunk bed in a 2nd room that was useful. Heating was excellent in the apartment and the Sauna as well. Drying cabinet and the sleds were quite useful. Communication with the Owner Meeri and Maintenance guy, Marko was excellent. Meeri's handbook was useful too.

The entry was convenient, we received the location and code for the keys well in advance. The location of the cabin is great, with its own parking, which is needed to get to the town center. The house is spacious, the living is beautiful and the kitchen has all the utensils you need (cutting boards, pans and pots,…).

A Magical Stay in Lapland Our stay at this cozy one-bedroom chalet was unforgettable! Surrounded by snowy forests and offering stunning views of the northern lights, it was the perfect winter escape. The chalet was well-equipped with a crackling fireplace and an excellent sauna. The staff went above and beyond, and the traditional Finnish wood-smoked sauna with the invigorating outdoor cold plunge was a true highlight. We even spotted reindeer wandering near the cottage, adding to the magic! The staff were warm and helpful, offering great tips for local activities. A big thank you to the staff at smoke sauna for motivating me to jump into the cold plunge pool :). If you’re looking for a peaceful and authentic Lapland retreat, this is the place to stay.

Castillo Vuorsa 3 fica em Saariselka e oferece acomodação com Wi-Fi grátis, ar-condicionado e acesso a um jardim com terraço. We stayed in this house for a week. The heating works very well, the beds are comfortable and the blankets are warm. The floors are heated and there are additional radiators in each room. There is also a clear instruction on how to start the fireplace. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking, and there is a large refrigerator. Everything was simply wonderful! The hosts replied quickly and were always very helpful and responsive. There is a transfer from Ivalo Airport that drops you off right on the street where the house is located. It’s also very convenient that there is a drying cabinet where you can dry your clothes after being out in the snow. The supermarket is about a 15-minute walk from the house. We would be happy to stay here again! The area is very quiet and peaceful — a perfect place to relax and unwind.
