The view is bombastic. To get there from the road you need a 4x4 car or a little bit of walking. It took us about 10 minutes to get down to the main road + another 10 minutes into town. There are several good restaurants and shops in the town. You can either get back to the accommodation by taxi or by walking up: from road to accommodation approx. 15 - 20 min. The breakfast was exceptionally delicious. Fresh home-baked bread, lots of fresh fruit, good coffee... (vegan options also available). The whole team was very friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious and beautifully furnished. You can feel the attention to the detail. Thank you Sharon and Team for the great stay. All in all highly recommended!

Com vista para o rio, Salt Lake Lodge, em Savusavu, fornece acomodação, jardim, área de praia privativa, lounge compartilhado, terraço e restaurante. The property was next to the Salt Water lake. It’s close to the AirPort and to SavuSavu town. Very convenient and low profile.

After 8 nights at another island with the kids, we left them with the in-laws and flew over to stay at Koro Sun, we were greeted by our super friendly transfer driver Tuks who was very informative about Savusavu. We arrived at Koro Sun to a welcome drink and intro of the resort thanks Savi (and Im so sorry can not remember the name of the lady who greeted us with the drink), then went on over to settle into our floating bure, it was super amazing, I loved hearing the fish jumping out of the water outside the window, there was a kayak tied to the deck ready to explore the lagoon, the room itself was super comfy! The food was amazing (sorry I cant remember everyones names but Nai you were so kind in the restaurant) I hadnt done much research into our stay, was just happy to eat, relax and book into activities as they became available, so was nicely surprised to have a continental breakfast included each morning! We explored the resort the first morning and went on a guided snorkel out in the lagoon in the afternoon with Andrew, which was perfect for my experience! Went to the Kava ceremony hosted by Rinu (sorry if Im spelling your name wrong) and Manu, the Fijian dance/show and dinner that evening, again all amazing and worth the time! We booked into a couples massage the next morning, wow, listening to the waterfall with a relaxing massage is something else 😍We were told the barrier reef snorkel trip was a must, so we did that next, and it was more than amazing thanks Gina, Caleb and Amos! The waterfall trip was also worth the time, thanks Sam & Dan, we swam through the waterfall to climb the rocks behind and then jump back through the waterfall, so cool! Ended the day with a sunset cruise, again amazing! Thanks to the whole team at Koro Sun, from check in to room service, dining, the rainforest spa, activities and dive shop, you made our Fiji holiday the best time 🥰 Can’t wait to come back!!!

O Savasi Island é um resort boutique situado a apenas 10 minutos do Aeroporto de Savusavu, em Vanua Levu. Everything, the food, the people, the ambience, the hospitality. One of the best places I have stayed and I have stayed in a lot of places. This place takes hospitality to another level. The welcome- they sing for you then you get a welcome drink, a foot massage a first day welcome cocktail in the evening. The day before your Check-out you eat in cave, with sunset and everything so beautiful. When you leave they sing a good bye song for you. I liked that most vegetables you eat are fresh and straight from the garden. They grow their own vegetables and herbs, garden to table. The garden manager is a great person as well. Special thank you to the following people: Ma, Mila, Bill, Eddie, Mita, Roberta, Isaac, Riccoh, Koto, Mela, Goto, the Chef and everyone who made my stay there a beautiful experience. Everyone in the background who is doing the work and I never met them. Thank you for the true Fijian welcome. I love Fiji 🇫🇯

We loved the exquisite beauty of the property, the location just outside of town, the privacy of the units but most of all- the staff!!! The genuine kindness, smiles, natural, easygoing way of interacting with the guests-we started as friends and felt like family when we departed.
