Our favorite part of this visit was the friendliness and helpfulness of the entire Madison staff. They clearly explained everything, from spa hours, to breakfast options, and reception hours. It was very nice to have the option to get coffee all day on the balcony! The beds were SO COMFORTABLE! The breakfast buffet was a deal, with many options and delicious coffee! The rooms were spotless and had everything we needed! We could even cast our phone apps to watch english tv! Wifi worked very well. And finally, the location was close to everything! The harbour, the beach, shopping, grocery, and historical buildings. We will be back, and The Madison is where we will stay.

Good size, comfortable rooms. Didn’t take advantage of breakfast, but dinner was of course sublime as expected. Great location too if you are here to explore Pays Basque including inland villages.

Grand Hôtel Thalasso & Spa is located on the seaside in Saint-Jean-de-Luz, and it has a restaurant with a bar. The spa and wellness centre is in a luxurious 1000 m² building. Friendly, helpful service. Beautiful room and comfortable bed. Excellent shower and separate toilet. Great pool and Spa.

Loved the location in a real Basque town and the services of the hotel. Staff were very nice. Pool was dated but functioned and the spa in hotel was a great treat!
