I believe the bay to be one of the nicest hotels we have stayed in, as it has a nice size, it is well located on its private beach, has nice and fresh Greek food, and a great breakfast with friendly service.

This hotel is an ideal place for families looking for a relaxing stay as well as groups of young people that want to enjoy Tsilivi’s night life. From check in to check out, the Hotel Contessina was amazing. Polite and accommodating staff were everywhere, including the cleaning folks, bartenders, pool staff, check in desk, and servers. Everyone went above and beyond to make our experience enjoyable. The rooms were spacious and the AC went to a cool level, which we loved after those hot days. The showers were large with rain shower and a powerful handheld jet, if you liked that option. Each evening, turn down service was exceptional and the fruit or sweet plate hit the spot. The most surprising and touching part of it all was the parting gift we were given during our check out. It was a bottle of olive oil and two jars of marmalade from the Contessina farm. A handwritten note thanking us for our stay with them seemed out of place in that it felt we should be giving them a gift for all the warm hospitality. The only knock is really the town itself, which is a matter of my personal opinion. The good is that the ATV rental place is right across the street so, if you're into that, it was very convenient. The town itself felt a bit like Cabo on spring break. Many bars and cheesy places to go to. The restaurants weren't that unique and many had the same menu items. We didn't venture much out of the hotel and it's, by far, the best property anywhere close to where it's located. Decent walk to a very crowded beach. Overall, an amazing place to stay in Zakynthos!

Very comfortable flat, beautifully decorated. It has all the kitchen appliances one needs, a/c, iron and iron board, washing machine and good size TV sets. The location is great. Quiet, yet close to the beach and the grocery stores. Car is mandatory.
