The property was exceptional in terms of it location, atmposphere, and sense of spaciousness. The staff were exceptional, courteous, friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and had enough variety to keep variety of palattes happy. The choice of experience available for guests are what you expect however had some unique "estate walk' with a resident ecologist is really makes the experience memorable. While all the staff we encountered were friendly, courteous and helpful, we would like to single out few of them: Lakrani was very courteous, efficient and friendly. She would be easily hired for customer facing work anywhere in the world. Infectious enthusiasm was impressive. Lithin was very knowledgable, friendly and willing to share his knowledge about the property, eco system and his passion readily. Ranjit Kumar Pradhan was extremely friendly, obliging and creative in preparing food of exceptional quality and taste. Wish we stayed more nights to taste his delicacy.

Dear fellow traveler, With the utmost sincerity I urge you to visit the Coorg Wilderness Resort and Spa because it is simply amazing, down to the smallest details. We arrived after dark and out of the jungle rose massive iron gates with side lights, and we were inspected by security - this felt very Crazy Rich Asians. We were met at the roundabout by Aswathi who facilitated the rest of our checkin. We received a blessing, were led to a couch, and received a cup of ginger tea before she went over the stay and amenities with us. We were shown to our suite, which was beautifully appointed in every way. Simply luxurious. You will not want for anything, there is something to occupy every visitor, even the pickiest among you - even our 15 year old daughter. The food in the restaurant is outstanding, a feast for the eyes and the palette. Daily there are many activities offered. Our favorites were morning bird watching, rooftop yoga, and a wilderness walk. The latter was led by Jagath who knows much about the local flora and fauna, and was infinitely patient with our many questions. We met other of Jagath”s colleagues, Harish, and jithesh, who operate the sustainable farm. We were offered the opportunity to select our own poultry for dinner…a rare option in our experience. The farm provides produce and meat to the kitchen and the results are unbeatable. So fellow traveler, this resort is most certainly worth your time for a visit.

Perched 4000 feet above sea level on a peaceful hillside is Taj Madikeri Resort & Spa Coorg. The property is spectacular. The staff are incredible in their delivery of service and hospitality. The food is excellent too.

Located on the cool green hills of Coorg, this plantation resort boasts 4 dining options, an outdoor infinity pool and an ayurvedic spa. It also houses a gym and a children’s activity centre. We had a lovely stay at Evolve Back, Coorg. The property is beautiful, calm, and very well maintained. The rooms were comfortable and the food was delicious. Special mention to Neetu and Ebrahim for their excellent service and warm hospitality. They made our stay truly memorable. Highly recommended, and we would definitely love to return.

The room was spacious and airy as was the bathroom. There was a large deck overlooking the beautiful plantings from which we could hear and view birds all day. The restaurant is terrific - they seemed willing and able to prepare almost anything asked for - and the serving sizes enormous! Due to no fault of their own, safaris were banned in Karnataka and they are willing to drive you over the border to Kerala. We hope that government ban is soon lifted. Even without those, there were many opportunities to observe the flora and fauna with expert guides. It was a relaxing and delightful experience with ample staff and friendly guests who shared social time. The only caution is for anyone with physical disabilities: there is significant walking and stair climbing required to get around the property.
