Beautiful place with beautiful people. We had an amazing time and would have liked to stay longer! Good location that the shuttle bus is front of the hotel Good private onsen, so lovely for customer after intense ski! Spacial room!

Offering rooms with a yukata robe, green tea and mountain views, Hotel Ougiya is 5 minutes from Hakuba Happo-One Ski Field on the free shuttle. The location is excellent for skiing. It's a 5-10 min walk either to the gondola or one of the chair lifts. It's in a quieter area, slightly away from all the restaurants and bars. I liked that a lot. You can be in the middle of everything in 2 min without the noise at night. I had one of the top-floor rooms with a great view over the valley. As I had a Japanese-style room, the owners put a bed frame in the room to put the futon on, which was very lovely for a Western person. I am not otherwise used to sleeping on the floor. Overall, it was very comfy, and sleeping on the floor in the tatami with the futon would probably be fine as well. My room had very slight marks of use, but it was minimal for an older hotel like this; overall, it was very clean and well-kept. The owner and the personnel were all very helpful and easy to communicate with in English (their answers are sometimes in broken English, but you understand what they want to tell you) Breakfast is nice and changes every day slightly! The buffet is a good mix of Japanese and Western styles. The onsen is excellent for relaxing after a day on the slopes.

Hakuba Mominoki Hotel is located between snow peaks in Hakuba Valley, a 5-minute drive from Hakuba Station. The 4-star hotel offers an outdoor natural hot-spring bath, free Wi-Fi and 3 restaurants. This was a phenomenal stay and might be top favorite hotels during my 2 week Japan trip! The breakfast selection was phenomenal. They offered shuttle bus services to and from the hotel was which was super convenient when it came to coordinating everything with our snowboarding gear. The onsen experience here was also amazing and relaxing. They had decent dinner options here as well . The room was super clean and so was the bathroom. Staff was super friendly and accomodating. They even offered discounted lift tickets to the nearby resort and there is a rental shop right across from the hotel which made everything super convenient. I would definitely come back again and would easily recommend this place to anyone!

Located in Hakuba, within 11 km of Tsugaike Kogen Ski Area and 42 km of Nagano Station, ラタトゥイユ provides accommodation with ski-to-door access as well as free private parking for guests who drive. Service was exceptional! It had such cozy, intimate vibes, and everyone was kind and respectful. We all thoroughly enjoyed the hot bath after a long day riding, and the staff were so kind and thoughtful. They helped us with dinner reservations and transport, even making us breakfast on our last day. We were so touched and completely blown away by their hospitality! The lodge is also very clean and has everything you could need. They also offer a paid shuttle service to each of the ski resorts in the area, so getting around wasn’t a problem. I highly recommend this place!

Set in Hakuba and only 13 km from Tsugaike Kogen Ski Area, Garden Pension Obergurgl offers accommodation with garden views, free WiFi and free private parking. Extremely accomodating and friendly staff, went above and beyond expectations. The bath was a wonderful bonus after a long day on the mountain. 5 min walk to Hakuba Goryu.
