In the heart of the Minato-Mirai area, just a minute's walk from Minato-Mirai Station, The Yokohama Bay Hotel Tokyu offers spacious rooms with a balcony, spectacular views of Minato-Mirai and free... Beds were very comfortable. View from the room was exceptional - both day/night views. I especially liked how the bathroom was stocked with large bottles of refillable soaps & shampoo bottles plus the skincare products. It was not limited to the standard small bottles. Our room was a Bay Club room and it was nice to have complimentary access to the Bay Club Lounge on the 25th floor and the complimentary drinks in the frig. Location is excellent!! Train station - Sakuragicho within close walking distance, shopping, restaurants, cafes, grocery stores, drug stores, entertainment all within Queens Plaza and Landmark Plaza totally amazing!! Enjoyed orchestra entertainment in the Queen Plaza. Amusement part right across the street from the Yokohama Bay.

Riokanas „Hakone Suimeisou“ įsikūręs už 3 minučių kelio pėsčiomis nuo Hakone Yumoto stoties ir už 15 minučių kelio pėsčiomis nuo Sounji šventyklos. Everything was so nice, the ryokan was clean, close to the station and the staff was so kind. The private onsen was so pretty and having a morning bath on our own balcony was relaxing. The traditional japanese meals were amazing and the futons were good to sleep on. Extra thank you to Sachiko-san for taking care of us.

The warm welcome started outside the hotel, the open lounge for any need, the private onsen, the Japanese meals, the high quality of the soaps, the kimonos, the room dress.

Ideally located in Yokohama, The Kahala Hotel & Resort Yokohama, open from September 2020, offers lavishly-decorated air-conditioned rooms, a restaurant, free WiFi and a bar. Beautiful hotel room gorgeous, breakfast was out of this world.

Situated in Hakone, 10 km from Hakone-Yumoto Station, Hakone Honbako 箱根本箱 features accommodation with a terrace, free private parking, a restaurant and a spa and wellness centre. It was exactly as in the photos, a book-lover’s dream, so peaceful and serene. The armchairs were comfortable and perfect for reading. The private onsen was great. I was afraid the outdoor shower would feel too cold (we’re from the tropics), but it was fine. The food was delicious, both dinner and breakfast. I appreciated the explanations given for the 10-course dinner. The servings may seem small but it was just right for a tasting menu and was filling. And I must repeat that the food was really good. I also appreciated the help provided to us to get a taxi to go to Gotemba (we had big luggages and I was recovering from a sprained ankle). It wasn’t easy to get taxis, but they kept trying and were able to get one for us. There was also a nice shop with artisan goods among books and writing paraphernalia.

Set in Hakone, 9 km from Hakone Open-Air Museum, Yamagaso offers accommodation with a restaurant, free private parking, a bar and a shared lounge. We chose Yamagaso for our first night in Japan and it turned out to be the best place we stayed during the entire trip. What I loved most about this traditional ryokan is the atmosphere: each room is actually a separate cabin set within a beautiful, calm garden, which makes the whole property feel incredibly intimate and peaceful. The highlight of our stay was the semi-private onsen, where you can enjoy the baths together as a couple or with your family—perfect for relaxing after a long day of travel. The kaiseki dinner and traditional Japanese breakfast, both served directly in our room, were exceptional and made the experience even more special. The staff were wonderfully helpful, both at reception and during meals, taking the time to explain each dish in English so we could fully appreciate the cuisine. Overall, Yamagaso was the perfect introduction to Japan—a serene and authentic retreat right in the middle of busy Hakone. Highly recommended.
