Opened in April 2017, Hakone Kowakien Tenyu offers Japanese-style rooms with tatami flooring, an open-air bath or ceramic open-air hot springs bath made with Shigaraki pottery. So so so beautiful and the staff was amazing only stayed for a night before heading off to my next location but would definitely stay another night to explore Hakone. Tried new foods I normally wouldn’t eat as well which was a great experience as well 🙂‍↕️

Riokanas „Hakone Suimeisou“ įsikūręs už 3 minučių kelio pėsčiomis nuo Hakone Yumoto stoties ir už 15 minučių kelio pėsčiomis nuo Sounji šventyklos. The food, onsen, view, the sound of the river. Just amazing. Everyone is very polite and helpful.

We had a wonderful experience at this hotel. It was quiet, spotlessly clean, and the service was truly impeccable. The staff were warm, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything we needed. We especially appreciated the thoughtful touches like the selection of bath salts and quality amenities. It made our stay feel extra special. The complimentary bikes were a fantastic bonus and allowed us to easily explore the local area at our own pace. Overall, it was a relaxing and memorable stay. We would definitely return and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, cleanliness, and great service.

8.3 km from Hakone-Yumoto Station in Hakone, Hakone Gora KARAKU offers accommodation with access to a sauna, hot spring bath and spa facilities. Onsen and private terrace bath are awesome. Dinner set is magical, many thanks for the staff for providing options of kids menu and breakfast bentos. Clothes sets are very stylish and comfortable, we liked very much!

The overall environment, e.g. wood frame, separate toilet room and bathroom. In addition to that, the entire facility is very clean and quiet.

Situated in Hakone, 10 km from Hakone-Yumoto Station, Hakone Honbako 箱根本箱 features accommodation with a terrace, free private parking, a restaurant and a spa and wellness centre. Everything. This was a very special experience.

Set in Hakone, 9 km from Hakone Open-Air Museum, Yamagaso offers accommodation with a restaurant, free private parking, a bar and a shared lounge. This was definitely the highlight of my Japan trip. It was an astounding Japanese garden and traditional house in the middle of Hakone. It was quiet and when you go outside you’re greeted by a river and astounding mountain view side. The cabin is quite large and surrounded by ponds and trees. The futon was comfy and the AC was effective driving the cold away. I’m very sad leaving the kotatsu behind. The kaiseki meals are delicious and quite a bit as well I’m always full and haven’t finished the meals.

Hakone Retreat villa 1f in Hakone provides adults-only accommodation with an open-air bath and a garden. We rented a private villa with its own hot tub and fire and we could not have been more thrilled with the privacy and luxurious nature of our stay . We were able to enjoy the a balance of quiet forest surroundings as well as visiting popular mountain regions nearby
