ALA HOTEL KYOTO is super awesome. First of all, the location is near Kyoto station, probably 5-minute walk from train station. Secondly, all the shops you want are around the hotel, such as convenience stores, shopping malls and restaurants. Moreover, the bus stop is not far away so that you are able to take bus to any attractions in Kyoto city. Finally, there is a nice and clean public restroom on the top of the building. In conclusion, I highly recommend ALA HOTEL KYOTO to everyone and I will definitely stay with the hotel again.

Kind staff. Lounge on the 9th floor with unlimited complementary soft drinks and coffee etc. also free ice creams. Onsen was a delightful experience after a full day of walking through the overcrowded streets of Kyoto. Daily cleaning was a nice touch.

The room was so clean, comfortable, modern, had everything we need, even a shoe dryer. The view to Aji River is beautiful. And the price was relatively reasonable. If there are plans for another trip to Japan, I will definitely choose it as our stay.
