The Ritz-Carlton, Nikko features restaurants, fitness centre, a lobby lounge bar and shared lounge in Nikko situated by Lake Chuzenji and overlooking Mount Nantai. We had the most wonderful time at the hotel! Staff were very professional and welcoming, breakfast was outstanding, the whole stay very relaxing! Onsent was incredible. The hotel is located by beautiful lake, great for walks and long runs!

Established in 1666, Honke Bankyu is housed in a registered historical building. The Japanese rooms feature traditional decor, futon bedding and a flat-screen TV. Beautiful scenery, historic property, and very attentive staff. Traveling with children to ryokans is not easy, but they did a phenomenal job ensuring we weren’t too much of a bother to the other guests.

Featuring air-conditioned accommodation with a balcony, 那須 にごり湯の大浴場露天風呂があるホテルコンドミニアム is set in Nasu. There is an on-site restaurant, plus free private parking and free WiFi are available. Spacious and good value for money.

Candeo Hotel Utsunomiya asub Utsunomiyas, 38 km kaugusel Nikko jaamast ja Tobu Nikko jaamast. Super close to the station, shopping, supermarkets, restaurants and bars. Easy to walk into Utsunomiya and explore the area.

Located in Nasu, 25 km from Shirakawa Station, Grand Mercure Nasu Highlands Resort & Spa provides accommodation with a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, free private parking and a restaurant. Absolutely love how child-friendly the hotel is. My children (3&1) loved the baby room with the toy kitchen, and the floor we were on had a small play space by the elevator, the wonderful play area inside and outside is fantastic and the buffet included children’s food & baby food. Just spectacular! My eldest experienced onsen for the first time and it was so spacious and easy for him to get around, he loved it! Me and hubby also loved the lounge evening drinks & snacks (which included sweets for the children - amazing) Thank you to the staff who spoke English for my check in!

43 km from Kegon Falls in Nikko, Hacho no Yu features accommodation with access to a hot spring bath, hot tub and spa centre. Outstanding place in the magical japanese mountains with fabulous Onsens. Friendliest staff. Delicious japanese food. Cozy, large and clean rooms. Exciting hiking to frozen waterfall and stargazing event. It was a wonderful experience! Thank you very much!

Boasting 6 dining options and a spa, Hotel Epinard Nasu features accommodations with a flat-screen TV and free WiFi. Service provided for activities available for the property. Bakery and venders in the morning were nice.

Kanaya hotellis ootavad külalisi kaminaga puhketuba, kust avaneb vaade metsale. Lisaks on hotellis siseruumides paiknev kuumaveeallikate vann ja kunstiala. Breakfast was very good. Their egg dishes and sausages were very good, and the morning coffee was above expectations. The spas were the convenient to use, and the outdoor spa was also satisfying. The second floor tea room is very charming and the furniture is very quaint in an old-European fashion. Make sure to use the shuttle bus that is available as it saves time. The timetable can be checked on the hotel’s website. Also, the staff are very warm and friendly, and are very helpful. I would like to stay at this hotel again if I were to visit Nikko in the future.
