River Retreat Garaku offers luxurious modern rooms and suites for a peaceful getaway on Jinzu River. Food: The Japanese style breakfast and French dinner were both exquisite. Room: Fabulous view of the river from the room. Clean, cosy and you can find many little things that show the thought put into the design. For example, there is a small sliding window between the bedroom and the bathroom that you can open and close. Spa: The experience was so pampering and relaxing, I fell into deep sleep and woke up feeling incredibly refreshed.

Open from June 2016, Toyama Onyado Nono boasts hot spring baths and is located in the heart of Toyama City, a 15-minute walk from JR Toyama Station. It features free WiFi and a restaurant. Everything was perfect, the onsen is amazing, the food and all the complimentary food and drink were amazing. The hotel really exceeded my expectations.

Just a 15min walk from the JR train station this hotel is located on a main street and is nearby the Tomaya Castle. Some noise from streets can be heared during day time, but during the night it is quiet and I slept very well. The bed is comfortable, though the pillow is firm and rather flat. I like these once and it was fine for me, but those of you sleeping with their heads up high, you might ask for an additional pillow. The room was spacious and everything was looking new. All equipment was working fine and there was enough space for your clothes etc. Cleanliness was spot on. When it comes to checking in, it is done by yourself on a touch panel. But nothing to worry about, you will be greated by one of the staff members and is on your side if you should need help. You also will be provided with all hotel information needed in written form. Both the day and night shift staff members where very friendly and helpful - a big Thank you to all of you at Dormy Inn for your service. The public bath was a nice service to use as well. I will stay here again at my next visit.

The staff are very helpful and recommend the place and the weather we travel. They help us translate the website information from Japanese to English to buy the cable car tickets. Also, there is free shuttle bus service transit from the hotel to Toyama station.
