Champasak Grand Hotel is a 15-minute ride from Pakse Airport. Offering comfortable accommodation with free Wi-Fi, it has an outdoor pool, which is surrounded by lush tropical garden. Clearly a 4-star hotel from the appearance and staff behaviour. Lovely room overlooking Mekong. Nice swimming pool. And so cheap for a 4*. We just paid nearly double per night for a 2* on Don Khone.

The breakfast was the best one I have had in a hotel in the many years of travel I have had. Have already recommended to friends and if in the area again would book without a shadow of doubt!
