The eco-friendly Maalu Maalu Resort & Spa - Thema Collection sits on the sandy shores of Passekudah Bay on the east coast of Sri Lanka. The hotel welcomes all new guests with flower necklaces and cool fruit drinks. The breakfast buffet options are numerous. We ordered a la carte lunch & dinner, and the food was always exceptional. (Note, the first night we wanted something that they didn’t have but they ordered it for the second night.) The room was ok, but all rooms come with a comfortable balcony to make up for what the room lacks. Also, the bathroom is about the same size as the room. The beach and the ocean are by far the main reason to come here. The warm ocean water is unparalleled and the hotel staff do a wonderful job keeping their section of the beach clean. The pool area is also nice, but we came for the beach and spent most of our time there. The kid space is lacking, but that’s ok as long as you aren’t there when it rains. Lastly, all the staff we encountered were professional. They helped arrange our departure taxi which actually was rather reasonably priced; meaning same price everyone seems to charge tourists 200 rupees per kilometer (rather than what locals pay which is like 120-150). Overall, I highly recommend staying here.

The place was amazing. The room was very large and the facilities in the room were awesome. The service was very good. People were very friendly and nice.

My wife and I recently stayed at Giman Free Hotel, and we were beyond impressed with our experience! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with the warmest hospitality. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. We booked a Deluxe Double Room with a sea view, and it was absolutely breathtaking. The room was spacious, clean, and the views were stunning. The peaceful, calm atmosphere made it the perfect place to relax and unwind. The food was another highlight! Every meal we had was delicious, but the seafood was especially exceptional—fresh and full of flavor. It’s clear that the kitchen takes great pride in its offerings. One of the best features of this eco-resort is the private beach. It’s a serene spot to enjoy the natural beauty of Sri Lanka without the crowds. The entire experience felt truly special, and we would highly recommend Giman Free to anyone looking for a luxurious yet eco-friendly retreat. It's hands down the best eco-resort in Sri Lanka! Kuurort Amaya Beach Passikudah pakub avaraid tube ja sviite koos privaatse rõdu ning tasuta WiFi-ühendusega. Kuurordi ja ranna vahel laiub suurepärane välibassein. Impeccable service, comfortable rooms, delicious food, perfect pool and one of my favourite beaches in the world. Honestly paradise. Also super family friendly without compromising class.

Sunrise Pasikuda asub Pasikudas, mõne sammu kaugusel Pasikuda rannast. Kohapeal on välibassein, tasuta eraparkla, spordikeskus ja aed. It is with great pleasure that I leave a review about the Sunrise Pasikuda Hotel! My family and I spent a wonderful 11 days-I didn't want to leave! The two-room family room turned out to be very large and comfortable: 2 bathrooms, a bathroom, comfortable ergonomic mattresses, clean linen, all(!) possible accessories for personal care and hygiene, coffee and tea in the mini-bar, which was replenished in the morning and evening, room cleaning 2 times a day, a spacious terrace with comfortable outdoor furniture, views of the beach and tropical park. Two small two-storey buildings of the hotel are located on the huge green territory of Sunrise Pasikuda Park, with giant palm trees and many other trees and plants, which adjoins a wide beach with snow-white sand. One of the best beaches we've ever seen. The beach is snow-white, spacious with a very hospitable ocean! The entrance to the ocean is on fine sand and a shallow bottom, without waves, which allows you to swim all day in peace. The part of the beach belonging to Sunrise Pasikuda has comfortable sun beds with soft mattresses and towels, which are kindly provided by the hotel. Sprawling trees with a vast and dense crown serve as a real salvation from the midday sun – thanks to the hotel staff for taking care of these beautiful trees. There is also a huge swimming pool on the territory of the hotel, which extends throughout the park: from the hotel buildings to the coastline. Fresh shower. Delicious breakfasts in the lobby restaurant. From the usual omelets to Ceylon exotics; an abundance of pastries, tropical fruits and freshly squeezed juices. We really want to thank all the staff of the hotel! The management of the hotel, the staff of the restaurant, the beach, the rooms, the gardeners, the reception. You have given us an unforgettable, wonderful experience! We did everything possible to solve our everyday problems and at the same time left the opportunity to be alone with our family and our journey.
