A very special thank you to our butler Malshan, who truly made our stay unforgettable. He was so friendly, attentive, and always made sure we had everything we needed. We felt very well looked after. We also really enjoyed the cooking class, where we learned how to make curry. Chef Donsan was fantastic – very friendly, patient, and passionate about what he does. It was a fun and memorable experience and something we would definitely recommend.

The eco-friendly Maalu Maalu Resort & Spa - Thema Collection sits on the sandy shores of Passekudah Bay on the east coast of Sri Lanka. Very nice and quite beach and surroundings. We landed in Sri Lanka right after the floods that happened in December, and the staff did everything to ensure we were comfortable despite everything not being 100%. They went above and beyond for us, made us feel really happy and extremely flexible with us. Really appreciate the quality of the people they have working in Maalu Maalu, definitely will come back

Excellent location. Beach is superperfect get away with family or friends. Everything here is just perfect. Rooms are clean and spacious comparing to the 5 star hotels. Staff is friendly, kind and flexible. Their service is exceptional. Food is the highlight. Every meal they served was delicious. Price is reasonable. Will surely visit again.

Denna resort har rymliga rum och sviter med egna balkonger och gratis WiFi. En underbar utomhuspool ligger mellan Amaya Beach Passikudah och stranden. Loved the place. When some guests tried to use the pool not wearing swimwear such as bikini or burkini the staff approached them and informed them that outside clothes and scarves are not acceptable in the pool. Good for the staff for having the training and courage to maintain standards.

Sunrise Pasikuda ligger i Pasikuda, en kort bit från Pasikuda strand, och erbjuder boende med en utomhuspool, gratis privat parkering, ett fitnesscenter och en trädgård. We spent three nights at Sunrise Pasikuda and it was perfect. The hotel is immaculate and our room (we had a family suite) was spacious and comfortable with a huge bathroom and two toilets, and a big balcony. We loved the little extras like the fruit plate and flowers on the bed. The location is great. The hotel has a huge pool which leads down to the hotel beach which is clean and quiet with a beach bar. You can do water sports and we did a boat trip that took us to local reefs with excellent snorkelling. We had all our meals here and I can’t fault the food. Breakfast and dinner are buffets with wide choice and there was entertainment every evening. We liked playing pool although the pool cues need an update. What made our stay so special was the staff at the hotel. They are so warm and welcoming and just want you to have a great time. We will definitely return.

The location at the lagoon is just beautiful! The resort itself is as well beautifully decorated with chairs and tables and even a swing in front of the lagoon so you can just sit down and enjoy the view, especially for the sunset. The pool is the perfect place to calm down and relax. The bed was very comfortable and the staff friendly. The food was delicious, I really had a great stay here!
