The hotel was very close to the old Medina area. The taxi dropped us at the stairs and the very helpful hosts, Ahmad and Abdulla helped us carry the suitcases. It is a very authentic hotel, with a very beautiful view.

The night manager became very close with us and took us on a tour of the medina and a palace in the medina. We ended up being invited to his home where his mom made a wonderful lunch for us. the room was good and large enough for our needs. location was great, right in the medina.

By far, the entire staff, especially Amin and Hayat, were extremely professional and helpful! This was one of the best staffs we have ever encountered! Our son, Dorian, became ill due to the heat at the beach in Rabat and the staff helped us at night and the next two days with him. They did not have to provide so much support. They supported our every request. We loved the conversations with Hayat and other staff members. It is very important to us to speak with the staff, if we can. It helps with the vibe of the place. The location of Riad Louna is superb! We stayed at Riad Louna for 6 days and used it as our "base camp." We did individual tours with our tour guide, Adil Loula, each of the 6 days. We visited the Fes Medina, military museum, Volubilis (Wow!), Meknes, toured and spent 3 hours on the beach in Rabat, Middle Atlas Mountains, Irene, and Chefchaouen ("the Santorini of Morocco") plus other panoramic locations. It was nice to return to the riad after a long day and rest in our large family room. The most upper terrace of the riad was nice in the evening - so relaxing and peaceful!

We felt at home from the moment we walked in and were served tea and baked goods which were greatly appreciated after a long drive from the desert. The staff were exceptional and really elevated our experience with their kindness and guidance, especially Houssam and Ali. The breakfast was delicious with nice variety. A highlight of this Riad is definitely the rooftop which boasts a small pool and seating areas that overlook the Medina. I also tried the hammam which I strongly recommend.

The riad is beautifully designed—peaceful, full of character, and impeccably clean. My room was comfortable and charming, with traditional touches that made the experience feel authentic.
