With mountain views, Spirit Of The River Lodge is located in Cusco and has a restaurant, room service, bar, garden, terrace and children's playground. The property was absolutely beautiful, the rooms were so comfortable and the views spectacular. Claudia was the most wonderful and kind host, with the best recommendations and delicious food. Their llama Tupac and dog Max were amazing, and we loved every moment we spent there. We will definitely come back, and are so grateful for their hospitality.

Set in Ollantaytambo, 21 km from Bus Station, Las Qolqas EcoResort Ollantaytambo offers accommodation with free bikes, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. The photos and descriptions don’t do this place justice. Located in a quiet valley half an hour’s walk (or a short drive) from Ollantaytambo the Las Qolqas Eco Resort by far exceeded our expectations. The friendly and helpful staff helped us with all our questions and requests, alongside the manager and the owner of the hotel. They also recommended a Machu Picchu guide for us (Porfirio - charming and very knowledgeable) and helped us with transportation to and from the train station to get to Machu Picchu (included in our room rate). The food on site is excellent, as are the drinks. There are fireplaces in each cabin which they’ll light for you at your request. You can admire hummingbirds from the comfy chairs on your veranda while you can hear the birds chirp and the sounds of the nearby river. We also did a lovely 2hr hike (each way) on an Inka Trail to the nearby Pumamarca Ruins which was amazing and we didn’t see any other tourists the whole way - a great way you get away from the masses. Las Qolqas was easily our favourite place we stayed at in Peru.

Offering panoramic city and mountain views, Hilton Garden Inn Cusco is set in Cusco's historic city centre, only 600 metres from Cusco's main square. Lovely hotel a short walk from the old city, with comfortable rooms and very helpful staff. There were issues with the buses and we risked missing our train to Machu Picchu, and the reception staff helped us navigate the issue. The hotel also let us leave our luggage whilst we stayed in Machu Picchu, and collected on our return to the Cusco airport, which was a great help. The breakfast buffet was great, and helpfully started at 5am, as we had an early start. All in all Cusco was a lovely place to spend and day and I highly recommend the Hilton. We had a wonderful experience.

Located in Urubamba, 800 metres from Bus Station, Lizzy Wasi Urubamba provides accommodation with a fitness centre, free private parking, a garden and a shared lounge. The staff at Lizzy Wasi are simply amazing and made our stay very comfortable. The grounds of the hotel are really nice and it is so easy to just habg out while enjoying the beautiful landscape and surroundings. Our kids enjoyed the friendly Alpaca which we visited daily. Having the breakfast available from 6.15am is a huge plus for jet lagged travelers.

Featuring an à la carte restaurant, Pisac Inn offers accommodations in Pisac. Free Wi-Fi access is available here. Pisac's main square is a 3-minute walk away. Location, breakfast, room were very good, but the staff is the real highlight of the Pisac Inn. They are just great! They received us very well, and assist us to get best resources and local knowledge to handle the effects of the high altitude. I strongly recommend this location!

The hotel boasts impressive interiors with antique exposed bricks, vaulted ceilings and sleek designer style furniture. Cusco’s cathedral and main square are only 3 blocks away. Beautiful, great service, very good location
