The Antigua Casona San Blas is a family-owned and operated boutique hotel in the historic center of Cusco with 50 rooms. Staff were lovely and gave excellent customer service. The architecture of the hotel is wonderful with a lot of wood. Breakfast and dinner were exceptional.

With mountain views, Spirit Of The River Lodge is located in Cusco and has a restaurant, room service, bar, garden, terrace and children's playground. SOTRL was a serene location alongside the Urubamba river. The room was bright and tastefully decorated, we slept peacefully each night with the sound of the river. Additionally there is a beautiful sauna - highly recommend. The property is lush with plants and flowers. Breakfast and dinner were always fresh and delicious. They prepare with all organic foods. Owners were warm and welcoming and took us on a day trip on the ATV to some underrated sacred spots. Very special place!

Set in Ollantaytambo, 21 km from Bus Station, Las Qolqas EcoResort Ollantaytambo offers accommodation with free bikes, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. The photos and descriptions don’t do this place justice. Located in a quiet valley half an hour’s walk (or a short drive) from Ollantaytambo the Las Qolqas Eco Resort by far exceeded our expectations. The friendly and helpful staff helped us with all our questions and requests, alongside the manager and the owner of the hotel. They also recommended a Machu Picchu guide for us (Porfirio - charming and very knowledgeable) and helped us with transportation to and from the train station to get to Machu Picchu (included in our room rate). The food on site is excellent, as are the drinks. There are fireplaces in each cabin which they’ll light for you at your request. You can admire hummingbirds from the comfy chairs on your veranda while you can hear the birds chirp and the sounds of the nearby river. We also did a lovely 2hr hike (each way) on an Inka Trail to the nearby Pumamarca Ruins which was amazing and we didn’t see any other tourists the whole way - a great way you get away from the masses. Las Qolqas was easily our favourite place we stayed at in Peru.

Located in Urubamba, 800 metres from Bus Station, Lizzy Wasi Urubamba provides accommodation with a fitness centre, free private parking, a garden and a shared lounge. Wonderful place surrounded by the large, very well maintained garden and mountains, managed by very nice and helpful personnel. Window view, terrace, meals in the restaurant, rooms, variety of birds- all was very great.

Set in a beautiful colonial property and featuring an on-site restaurant, Palacio Manco Capac offers accommodations in Cusco. Free WiFi access is available. A complimentary breakfast is served daily. Fantastic stay at Palacio Manco Capac. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is absolutely special so close to the inca ruins and living in a part of history is really extraordinary. Exceptional breakfast with fresh fruits - try the bananas and avocados if you can, you wont regret it. This is a place that is a bit off the beaten path and as such for people looking to get away from the busy life and enjoy the quiet and beautiful views over cusco will love this. I was unfortunate to get ill before coming to cusco / completely unrelated to my stay but the staff was so helpful in allowing us to extend for a few days and helping me to eat in the room when I was not feeling well. Just want to say thank you again for this helpful service and supportive manner!

Featuring an à la carte restaurant, Pisac Inn offers accommodations in Pisac. Free Wi-Fi access is available here. Pisac's main square is a 3-minute walk away. The location is superb. Right on the main square close to a ton of great cafes, restaurants and shops. The rooms are small but super cute and beautifully decorated. The staff are lovely and very helpful. I was only planning to stay a couple of nights but I extended because I liked Pisac and the Pisac Inn so much.

The hotel boasts impressive interiors with antique exposed bricks, vaulted ceilings and sleek designer style furniture. Cusco’s cathedral and main square are only 3 blocks away. The hotel service was excellent, the location was superb, and it was very safe.

Tambo del Inka, a luxury establishment located in the Sacred Valley of the Incas, is the only hotel in Urubamba that has a private train station with connections to Machu Picchu. This was our second time to go to this hotel. I like so much the rooms, the huge common spaces and the wellness. The coffee machine in the room is a real extra. We traveld to Machu Picchu with the train (from the hotel’s train station) - it’s very comfy.

Aranwa is set on a sumptuous 17th century hacienda on the road to Machu Pichu. Luxurious facilities include a swimming pool, a spa featuring alternative medicine treatments and a museum. Such a beautiful property. We had a wonderful stay. The hotel is lovely - serene and calm and the perfect place to stay for Sacred Valley. The gardens are very peaceful and quiet Our room was great - large and really well appointed and very relaxing. The breakfast was fantastic - lots of choice and the Spa was fantastic. The gym is also excellent. The team were all very good but a special mention to Andres, Luis, Wally and Diana who took great care of us and delivered exceptional personalised service. I had a treatment at the Spa with Yesica who was also fantastic .
