Our spa massage was another highlight, fully relaxing and beautifully done. The entire property felt carefully designed to inspire calm, with elegant amenities and thoughtful touches everywhere. What made the stay unforgettable, though, were the small moments: walking along the wooden viewpoints by the lake, savoring the peaceful landscape, and exploring the "Horta do Chefe" where we met baby goats and other animals. It felt like being connected to nature without giving up any comfort. Octant Évora captures the soul of Alentejo: slow, warm, delicious, and full of life. I can't wait to come back in the summer and enjoy it all over again, this time with even more sun, pool time, and long walks by the water :)

Surrounded by 80 000m² of beautiful gardens, this 5-star hotel is 4 km from Évora city centre and housed in a renovated 15th-century convent. It offers a piano bar and free parking. The staff were amazing, the breakfast was fantastic! The spa, pool etc. were so clean and we appreciated how quiet it was while taking a hot jacuzzi.

We spent three wonderful nights at Moagem Industrial Hotel and absolutely loved it. The hotel is simply beautiful, very comfortable, and makes you feel completely at home. At the same time, the staff treats you like royalty – warm, attentive, and welcoming in every detail. A special thank you to Maya and Paula, who welcomed us so warmly every morning and prepared the best pancakes we have ever had. The welcome from Luis was a true delight – so friendly and genuine. Célia and Marta impressed us with their attention to detail and the way they served us so beautifully at the table. Marta, the pastry chef, amazed us with the best handmade desserts we have ever tasted. And of course, we cannot forget Ruben, the chef, who with so much love and care prepared for us an incredible variety of delicious dishes. We were delighted! Ines—one of the owners— is warm and welcoming. Our room was splendid—comfortable, lovely, overlooking the beautiful pool. Breakfast was perfect—obrigado Patricia! We liked this beautiful Solar ( a former school where Ines was a schoolgirl—how cool!) so much that we stayed one more night! My friend left for work in Lisboa and I stayed for a third night! One night turned into three because it is so delightful! I have cycled 94,000+km around the world and have stayed at well over 1000+ hotels around the world on every continent except Antarctica—Solar Dos Frades is one of the best! Obrigado Ines! Superb service. Kind and attentive. Always smiling. This place by far exceeded our expectations. Just a stunning hotel. The attention to detail is second to none. Staff are just incredible- the highest level we have ever experienced - giving their absolute best in kindness, attention and generosity in a kind and authentic way. Rooms are stunning and beautifully decorated with excellent bedding, beautiful linen, luxurious bathrooms and immaculate cleaning and attention to details. Pool is luxurious and well attended allowing for an amazing relaxing time and they even give you 2 x divine hats to lounge by the pool in style! Breakfasts were generous, super delicious, great friendly smiley service and the restaurant is out of this world, just so tasty, every single dish- and we tried them all! Super cute town, divine surrounding beaches and you can hire electric bikes to go exploring. We enjoyed our time so much and highly recommend!! . We would stay here again a heartbeat and cannot wait to return to this perfect, calm, amazing place which literally feels like heaven.
