Octant Douro located in Vista Alegre, Castelo de Paiva. Offering a stunning infinity pool the hotel overlooks the Douro River blending itself with the surrounding nature. Such beautiful hotel, and cleverly designed with childrens pool on top and adult below. And a very good restaurant.

Hotell Barrilario Douro Wine asub Armamaris, 10 km kaugusel Douro muuseumist. We had a wonderful experience at this property. The rooms were very comfortable and the staff was extraordinary. Cleanliness and beds were exceptional.

Torel Quinta da Vacaria - Douro Valley asub Peso da Réguas, 5,1 km kaugusel Douro muuseumist. Kohapeal on välibassein, tasuta eraparkla, aed ja terrass. The hotel is brand new and set on the banks of the Douro. Stunning rooms - very highly appointed. Superb spa. Gracious staff. Fabulous food. We could have stayed longer. The whole place is an island of serenity. We will return.

Aiavaatega Quinta de Travassinhos - Douro Valley & Spa pakub katusebasseini, sisebasseini ja vabaõhuvanniga majutust umbes 6,5 km kaugusel Douro muuseumist. Just outside the town of Regua lies this beautiful 300year old Quinta, with a lush history that's been beautifully renovated & restored by Helena & her husband who was so kind to pick us up & drop us at Regua station when we arrived & left in his historical army open jeep (they're both so knowledgeable, you really get the local insider's knowledge of the area & the history) Only 9 rooms, and they are all gorgeous, with pretty antique decorations collected by Helena. The library, public areas and the dining room are also wonderfully decorated with antiques & plush furniture. We ate all our meals at the Quinta & it was a perfect way to experience the local cuisine in a farm to table setting - with delicious wines chosen by their Sommelier, Jean. Fell in love with the mini meat.chicken pies that were served on our first day of breakfast, was so sad they didn't reappear on the subsequent mornings but everything was delicious The pool & its views are stunning, I only wish we had stayed in the heat of summer (as its a cold water pool) - end Sept can get a little chilly by late afternoon/early evening. The indoor pool, is more of an indoor area thats heated not the pool itself. We enjoyed walking around their vineyard & meeting their dogs & just relaxing by the pool Only thing I wish the room had, was a little fridge, as we had bought some food to take back to Japan & refrigeration would have helped (but it was fine) Absolutely loved our stay & so glad we decided to stay 3 nights after a friends wedding in neighbouring Pinhao. Great way to relax & recharge

Aiavaate ja terrassiga Casas de Campo da Barroca asub umbes 46 km kaugusel Püha Neitsi Maarja Varjupaigast. Maamajas on tasuta WiFi-ühendus ja tasuta parkla. This pace is beautiful. It is very peaceful, the staff are attentive. The beds were super comfortable. There is everything in the kitchen you need to create a lovely meal. This was very welcome after weeks of travelling I enjoyed being able to prepare delicious food for my family.

Offering a seasonal outdoor pool, Rio Moment's is set in Castelo de Paiva in the Norte Region, 34 km from Porto. Guimarães is 46 km away. The staff is very kind and helpfull

We loved every minute of our experience at Lavandeira. The staff was welcoming and very friendly. We particularly enjoyed learning about the properties wines from Philippe - he went above and beyond to make our stay special. The property is beautiful and our room exceeded our expectations. It was a bit quieter on the Monday and Tuesday when so stayed so we also had the spa and swimming pools to ourselves - we were spoiled! We are telling our friends and family about the hotel and would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a peaceful getaway - with amazing wine & food of course!
