Octant Douro located in Vista Alegre, Castelo de Paiva. Offering a stunning infinity pool the hotel overlooks the Douro River blending itself with the surrounding nature. The view from our room was amazing. The staff were amicable and professional. We took the boat tour on the Douro, which was relaxing and scenic. We would definitely go back again to the Octant Douro.

Spectacular place with a lake view. The place is perfect to disconnect and be surrounded by nature. Ana from the staff was amazing, very thoughtful and open to help. This pace is beautiful. It is very peaceful, the staff are attentive. The beds were super comfortable. There is everything in the kitchen you need to create a lovely meal. This was very welcome after weeks of travelling I enjoyed being able to prepare delicious food for my family.

The breakfast was very good and the location was in very relaxing setting. The staff was very attentive and helpful especially senhora Ana senhora Susana, senhora Linda and senhora Fátima

We absolutely loved the five star treatment. The staff gave us and the unique room that we stayed in in the main house, which they creatively turned in old wine, stomping room into a beautiful and chic exclusive space. We were able to get a tour of the property and we loved the pool the food the wellness center, and it was truly such a beautiful surprise.
