Un posto magico, ci siamo rilassati, ci siamo sentiti coccolati, il personale è stato gentilissimo ma ciò che è davvero impressionante è la location: elegante, pulita, confortevole. Abbiamo mangiato benissimo, la scelta era varia e genuina. Le proposte contenevano sia cucina internazionale che tanti prodotti e ricette locali.

Situato nel cuore di Covilhã, lo Sport Hotel Gym + SPA offre camere climatizzate con TV. All'interno dell'hotel troverete un minimarket. Il Parco Nazionale della Serra da Estrela dista solo 6 km. Ottima posizione, personale disponibile e accogliente, mi sono sentito a casa, che dire di più

I wanted to visit this hotel ever since I saw it on Design Hotels and on Instagram, so I booked a specific room and we traveled from Lisbon for it. Check-in was seamless and even though the room I wanted wasn’t available at first, the staff were very professional, patient and polite. They showed me the room and even offered to have it cleaned quickly so we could take it. However, another equivalent mirror room turned out to be one I liked even more, so we stayed with the initially allocated room. Excellent service from breakfast to dinner in their restaurant. I had expected less because I saw some feedback on Booking about portion sizes, but everything exceeded expectations: food was great, portions were not small at all and again the staff were very helpful, attentive and caring without ever being intrusive. We didn’t try the spa or the swimming pool, but those also looked great. The fireplaces throughout the hotel have a cozy, wooden smell. Breakfast had a great selection, including a separate à-la-carte menu. I especially liked the baked apples with cinnamon. And of course, the room I booked was beautifully designed, exactly what I hoped to see, with a very comfortable bed, crisp bedsheets, a balcony view, concrete walls and a glass wall. The weather was quite cold and the staff immediately turned the heater up, even brought an additional one without hesitation. To conclude, the only regret is that we didn’t stay longer because we had a flight back. I will definitely return if I’m in the area again. Thank you for your service.

Hotel di design situato sulle montagne del Parco Naturale della Serra da Estrela, la Casa das Penhas Douradas - Burel Expedition Hotel offre camere con vista sulle montagne e servizi, tra cui una TV... Found this place somewhat randomly and spent 3 night in their basic rooms, with the deck. The architecture, interior design, food, and most importantly service were impeccable and very high value for the money we spent. Especially the staff.. they went above an beyond to make sure you felt welcome and pampered. Great location if you want to spend a bit of time away and up in the mountains (hills) of Portugal. Highly recommended. p.s. We did make a stop for dinner at the higher rated (5 star) hotel owned by the same group. This location compared to that felt nicer. Both the interior design and people felt a lot warmer here.
