It starts with excellent service — quick responses to every question and a genuine desire to help. It continues with an impressively clean and well-maintained property, beautifully furnished with comfortable and stylish furniture and fittings. The breakfast is generous and delicious, offered at a fair price. The outdoor design is wonderful and includes everything you could wish for: a picnic area, a fire pit, a lovely swimming pool, a jacuzzi available whenever you like, a sauna, a traditional stone oven and grill for barbecuing, and even a room with board games. A perfect spot for a 3–4 day getaway, whether as a couple or a family. The host was attentive to every need. Go there without a second thought!

At first, I thought this place was a bit basic for the price. But after staying in five other hotels in Romania, I realized it was the best value for money. The views are incredible — probably some of the best on the Transalpina road. There are plenty of places to eat and things to do nearby. I especially recommend Tara Restaurant. We tried a few, and that one stood out. The owner is amazing. He did a great job, even without knowing much English. We used the sauna and hot tub two days in a row. It felt great to end a day full of hiking and exploring with a proper bathhouse session. We really recommend this place.
