The hotel was newly refurbished, painted. The staff was very kind, spoke also Hungarian. They were flexible to change our rooms because we wanted to look toward the lake. We had no view to the lake (no such room I was told) but still we had amazing view. And we also had late check out. The spa is beautiful! Enough beds, the water elements work frequently. We could use also the spa center of the next hotel which is much bigger but much crowder and not so cosy. Breakfast was vast and good!

Parking is difficult in the region, but we never had any issues to find a spot. Owner is very helpful and the hotel is located in the perfect spot.

We booked a two-night stay at the boutique hotel Le Baron during our one-week trip through Transylvania. The place was excellent, featuring a large backyard that our dog loved and offering a beautiful view. The location was perfect for us. We were able to organize day trips to many destinations within a 100 km radius with ease. The staff were friendly and professional, and the breakfast was delicious and varied.
