The menu showcased both local and international cuisine, providing a culinary experience that satisfied even the most discerning palate. Additionally, the attentive and friendly staff made dining an absolute pleasure, ensuring my needs were met and providing excellent recommendations. The hotel's location on Paltinis Mountain was truly idyllic. Overall, my stay at this 4-star hotel on Paltinis Mountain with its incredible spa was a truly unforgettable experience. Everything was thought about up until the very small details- first, we went in to meet Catalin, the owner, he showed us around, was available for any kind of question and was very very welcoming and nice, really a wonderful man! the room was nice and clean, the pool, jacuzzi and sauna we didn't use but they were very clean, had a mini bar inside, in a very quiet environment. They also have private parking. In the room, it was very clean, we had everything we needed, the bed was comfortable, we had facilities like an extra blanket, a toothbrush, cleaning kit, and extra that was very thoughtful, we also had a mini bar, and a TV in the room. The wifi is good and strong, the room is intimate, with heating and cooling systems, with a small porch to smoke on. The breakfast was a delicious buffet, you can choose if you sit inside or outside. He has the sweetest cat- Kevin, that we had the pleasure to meet. We really had the greatest experience of the place and of Catalin, so happy we've been there!

Access to the on-site sauna, pool and gym is possible at a surcharge. I recently stayed at this hotel and found the breakfast experience quite disappointing. Not only was the selection very limited, but I felt like I was constantly being watched. It was as if they were worried I might take an extra slice of bread. I was in a rush and wanted to take my tea with me in a thermos, but an employee appeared out of nowhere to tell me that wasn't allowed—I had to drink it on-site. It felt like there was a "tea police" watching over me. Overall, the hotel’s strict approach to a very basic breakfast made the experience far less enjoyable. If you need a flexible morning routine, this might not be the best place to stay.
