By chance, we discovered this beautiful place, the Sunflower Hill Inn. A shingled wooden house on the eastern edge of Moab, it has a charming, almost English character. It features a small garden, a covered pergola with a barbecue area, and a kidney-shaped pool. Two double loungers, one in the sun, the other in the shade, invite you to relax depending on the time of day. In front of the covered terrace are round tables; inside, there’s a stylish lounge, perfect for reading or playing games in the evening, and for enjoying a shared breakfast in the morning, which can be ordered the night before. This hotel naturally encourages you to slow down: the Main Street is out of earshot, and after a day in Zion National Park or Canyonlands, this place offers everything you could wish for. Escalante Yurts - Luxury Lodging has mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking, situated in Escalante. Maybe the best place I’ve ever stayed. I felt like I was in a palace. I took a group hiking, and my car broke down. Scott, the owner went out into the desert, picked us up and drove us all the way to Kanab. He spent half a day trying to help us and he did not charge a penny. Good Samaritan on steroids. You must stay here.

Arches National Park 2 Miles Canyonlands National Park 32 Miles Castle Valley 22 Miles The breakfast is great. We had the avocado toast and my dad had Moab Benny. Both was excellent. The facility is great with a good gym.

Located adjacent to the Zion National Park Visitor Center, this Springdale lodge offers a seasonal outdoor heated pool and a hot tub with canyon views. Free Wi-Fi is provided. Beautiful facility within walking distance to the Zion Visitor Center and shuttles into the park. Brewery, shops, coffee cafe and equipment rental also within walking distance. Additionally, you get a card when you check in that provides a discount (10 or 15%… can’t remember) that is accepted at most of the above mentioned facilities.

Holiday Inn Express & Suites Logan by IHG is located in Logan. With a shared lounge, the 2-star hotel has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, each with a private bathroom. Breakfast was awesome! I want to stay here again!

Best Western Landmark Inn is 10 minutes' drive from Park City Mountain Resort. The hotel features an indoor pool with a hot tub, a full hot breakfast and free Wi-Fi. The best hotel I have stopped at for the price I paid.
