From the genuinely warm welcome from Tanya & Shaun to the easy check in, the super comfortable beds, the divine breakfast & the peaceful walk along the river banks, our stay was a time of refreshing & reconnecting. A shout out to Tanya for catering to my diet needs. Totally appreciated this.

This guest house offers award-winning cuisine in the tranquil setting of KwaZulu Natal’s Drakensberg Mountains, right on the border of Giants Castle Nature Reserve. - Caster and Buhle were excellent hosts and went above and beyond to ensure I was comfortable and looked after during my stay - I ended up staying ten days and had booked a room with separate lounge area which was a winner. Suggest that option for longer stays. - Fire in my room during turndown service - The food was fantastic - I loved the views and time on the deck with a cup of coffee was just what the dr ordered - Tumi, the cat was adorable - The housekeepers are thorough and they even put my pjs in my bed so electric blanket would warm them! - Spa treatments with Buhle was relaxing and highlight of my afternoon - The owner (Mouse) took some time to catch up and listened to my feedback - Amen, the gardener was so friendly and always made time for a hello and chat.

The ambience of the property was breathtaking—beautifully maintained grounds and a serene atmosphere.. • The ladies at reception were welcoming and attentive, ensuring every detail was taken care of. • Dinner was a highlight, with the gentlemen assisting us making the evening feel special. Everything, especially the people from Sam, Andre and Sean to the ladies at the restaurant to the man who came by at night to help us light our fire in our fireplace.

Situated within 12 km from Mooi River, surrounded by meadows, Midlands Saddle and Trout offers an array of activities from fishing, mini golf and horse riding. It was a pleasure to stay at Midlands Saddle. Everything was perfect. They didn't even once complain about noise to our group. I needed our stay was perfect. Wish to visit very soon 🤗🤗
