Situated in Bad Waltersdorf, Aparthotel "Goldener Hahn Apartments" offers 3-star accommodation with private terraces. The property has garden views and is 39 km from Schlaining Castle. An excellent experience. The host lady is very nice, providing a very warm welcome. The location is great, the apartment is in the middle of nature, facing a huge forest. The apartment has everything you need. Also, there are a lot of free snacks, drinks and more already there for you in the apartment. There is air conditioning and fully functional which was great for the current temperatures. There is a huge place in front for parking the car and also a place to store your bike. The area is superb, some pretty steep hills, a great place for biking. Just two small suggestions that didn't affect me: if there were insect nets I would've open windows at night instead of using the AC, and second: the splash from the shower goes out in the bathroom floor, maybe a different door would avoid this. I will definetely come back here when I'll visit the area. Vielen dank.

Definitely recommend and will return if roads lead this way in future.

We had a nice stay at this family friendly hotel. Communication was prompt and easy. The staff was super friendly, the rooms comfortable and clean with a lot of storage space and a nice balcony with a good view. The food (we had half-board) was plentyful and very good. The area is lovely for walks and excursions. There is a small swimming lake a 10 minutes drive away. There is a good playground at the hotel and safe for children to be out playing. We can recommend this hotel for both young and old guests.
