Boasting free bikes and views of mountain, ЧОЛАКОВАТА КЪЩА is a guest house set in a historic building in Koprivshtitsa, 700 metres from Todor Kableshkov Memorial House. I genuinely loved the place, which -without exhageration- just felt like home. Apart from all the points which were already mentioned by other reviewers of you having an opportunity to stay in the 18th century house, which nevertheless has all the comfort of modern apartments to it, it being very clean, cozy and well maintained, you also get a chance to feel like you belong there. One can feel the care, dedication and love that the owner puts in running this business while treating the guests as part of the family. We came over a very snowy/rainy period of the year which made me initially feel like am stranded here as the village looked deserted and unwelcoming, yet, once I entered the shared kitchen on the ground floor with the real fire place, 2 lovely teenager-cats and was greeted by the warmth of our host, I immidiately felt safe. In fact, I wouldn't mind spending the whole day inside only watching the freezing wet outdoors- as opposed to exploring the surroundings -while listening to the stories of how the house came to place, was run and what the life is in this small settlement throughout the year (which as we discovered, is not that small after all:)), where in no way did we feel that our presence was bothering as we collected our courage to hit outdoors. And yes, the highlight of the stay -as mentioned by others already-home made breakfast, which throws you directly back to your childhood, as you sit there listening to the wood cracking in the fireplace, watching the rain outside, while having the cat rolled up on ur knees -all to the taste of local food. Honestly, just an unforgettable experience -grounded, honest and back-to-your-roots and nature. Thank you so much for making our short get-away so magical:)

Good location, welcoming hosts, clean and quiet—great value for money. We chose to dine at the on-site garden restaurant, and that was the best decision! The service was outstanding, and the food was exceptionally delicious. The breakfast was fabulous too. Highly recommend the restaurant if you book this place—it’s a must. Thank you, Zhoro, for the amazing hospitality. We will definitely come back!

Set in Borovets, The Castle - Your unique way of retreat is a recently renovated accommodation, 48 km from Park Vitosha and 41 km from Gate of Trajan. It was exactly as we imagined it and even better! The rooms were huge and the wooden interior was beautiful all around the house. The sauna and the indoor pool was amazing and we had a great time and a lot of fun! The hostess was very helpful and kind and she welcomed us with very thoughtful gifts!

Featuring mountain views, Iglika 2 - Studio Cabin provides accommodation with a balcony, around 47 km from Park Vitosha. This 3-star apartment offers a lift and an ATM. Great location compact apartment close to centre of ski resort. Quiet and comfortable.

22 km from Gate of Trajan in Pchelin, Ma-Bebe SPA Suite - Thermal Jacuzzi and Family Comfort offers accommodation with access to a hot spring bath and hot tub. Everything was wonderful! We were so happy to be there!

Boasting mountain views, Kashta Peychevi features accommodation with terrace, around 49 km from Park Vitosha. Although a few months late, I cannot miss sharing about our incredible stay at the Peychevi's house in the end of August. The lady, who is also the owner, is extremely heart-welcoming, polite, friendly and cooks amazingly. They have a menu with variois salads and main courses. We definitely recommend the moussaka, especially after a long hike.👌🏼 The breakfast was also amazingly tasty and the whole atmosphere in general makes you feel just like home.
