It was clean, modern, and very quiet. I was a late check-in, and reception was easy. Bed was very comfortable and the shower was very nice. While it is about 20 minutes outside Matane, it is worth the distance. I have stayed at multiple spots in town while traveling, and most are outdated and loud road noise. Motel M is in a small town and exceptionally quiet with modern appeal.

The owners do everything to make the guests feel comfortable and they're very welcoming. We had a room with a balcony and with an awesome view. There's a lot you can do in the area. North Hatley is a beautiful village at one of three lakes in the area. There're also hiking pathes and a lot of water activities. We enjoyed our stay very much and can highly recommend it to other guests.

The room was clean and very comfortable which included a mini fridge and a coffee maker with pods supplied as well. Don't get me started on the breakfast, it was AMAZING!!! We had crepes and French toast and on another day we tried the omelette. And be sure to inquire about the homemade jams. We bought 2 jars.
