The hotel features a public bath, a karaoke room and free WiFi at the lobby. It was all AMAZING. The property is a little older but in a very good way (very nostalgic for me). Such good vibes in the lobby and the room was beautiful with a big window looking out over the water. I had never before had kaizeki in my room in this way, or had public onsen, and this experience was absolutely fantastic. The food was very good both at dinner and for breakfast. The bedding was comfortable. I have no complaints and every compliment!

The staff was very welcoming and the stay was very comfortable with an amazing view. Private bath is also available for 30mins which was the best part. Also the food is really great. Nestled in a gorgeous, ancient temple complex, the grounds are extremely fun to hike/explore during the day, with plenty of opportunities to learn about the history of the place through thoughtful signage and the wonderful staff. The food was absolutely delicious - we were eating a feast of unique foods specially prepared for us every evening and morning, which made the experience epic. Okami-san and everyone else here gregariously welcomed us with cups of beautiful matcha, and even shuttled us to and from Yasugi station and to the Adachi Museum of Art. I will never forget this place!
