Itsukushima Shrine is absolutely beautiful and a must-see if...
Itsukushima Shrine is absolutely beautiful and a must-see if you are anywhere near Hiroshima. Although a tad expensive, I strongly recommend staying on the island if at all possible; nothing beats walking near the shrine in the evening when the crowds are gone and the massive torii gate is illuminated at night, or in the early morning light. Unforgettable!
