Anchor Hotel Fukuyama ตั้งอยู่ในฟุกุยามะ ห่างจาก Fukuyama Castle Museum 400 ม. The hotel is 5 minutes walk from the train station and 5 minutes walk from the castle. I could even see a piece of the castle between the houses from the balcony of the room. The staff is super polite, sincere and friendly and speaks excellent English. I was glad to have the opportunity to practice Japanese and I am grateful that they all used simple Japanese. I was given a complimentary coffee upon check-in. In the evening, it was interesting to try shōchū for the first time in the hotel's bar. The design of the room is incredible, very modern and cozy! The walls in the room are thin, so you can hear other guests talking, but no one was noisy, so I slept well. The lavender soap also helped. For breakfast, I chose a hot dog and tea. It was delicious and filling. You can buy some denim staff at the hotel. Only after the tour of the castle did I learn that it is locally produced, and I regret not buying anything. Well, next time! I really liked Fukuyama Castle, Sanzo Inari Shrine, art and history museums. I didn't have time to visit the Holocaust Education Center and Fukuyama Auto & Clock Museum, and my visit in Kusado Inari Shrine was very short, so I would like to travel to Fukuyama again. And next time I will definitely stay at this hotel again. Fukuyama and kind people of Fukuyama will stay in my heart.

The hotel is a peek into what service used to be like before everything became corporate, impersonal, and digital. From the shuttle waiting to pick up our luggage while we went sightseeing on the island, to small touches of having our slippers ready with our names attached....everything was such a high level of customer service. We were brought our dinner to our room where we could relax and enjoy our meal. The beds were made by staff and everything was given consideration for our comfort. We were able to enjoy the grounds of the hotel and walk right to the ocean with deer trailing us curiously. It was a memorable time and we are so glad we chose to stay here even though it is away from the island restaurants and shops. The shuttle took us back and forth when we wanted to visit later at night so there was no problem with access. The breakfast was a typical Japanese one and delicious. Highly recommend the resort and wish we could return soon.

Jukeiso features Japanese-style rooms overlooking the majestic entrance gate (Torii) of Itsukushima-jinja Shrine, only a 5-minute walk from the Unesco World Heritage Site itself. The shuttle service from the ferry terminal, the private bath (free of charge) available for timeslot bookings, and the staff were all wonderful and exceptional. Amazing views. The private bath was a welcome amenity for us as we didn't realize it was something offered without extra charge. It has two showers and a bath with adjustable temperature (add hot or cold water to adjust).

Just a 7-minute walk from Itsukushima Shrine, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Combining modern design with a homely decor, Kikunoya Hotel offers both Western and Japanese-style rooms. All good, Onsen, bedroom shower. The japanese dinner and breakfast was included. All very fresh, but too many oysters for me😁. Great place to stay on the island for one night but be aware that all is shut on the island once it gets dark. They collected our luggage on the first day so we could tour the town and climb Mt Misen. Then we got an early free shuttle to get the ferry in the morning. All great.

When we couldn’t find any eating places open, we asked at last minute if we could still get dinner from them. Not only did they acceded to our request, they whipped up a very sumptuous meal within a short time. The meal was so value for money
