They went above and beyond to help us celebrate our honeymoon. I was so grateful for how hard they all worked and how kind they all were. We also got the breakfast service in our room, which was excellent, and they provided several drinks in the fridge for us for free. They shuttled us from the station and back to it, and we were even sent off by the staff at the end of our stay. So friendly and welcoming. Also, our deluxe suite had the private open air bath, and I can't recommend that enough. It was so relaxing and incredible. Lastly, I personally loved the toiletries and additional things that came with the room (shampoo, straightener, beverages, yukata, pajamas, etc.)

Situated just 26 km from Hikone Castle, Ryokan Beniayu features accommodation in Nagahama with access to an open-air bath, free bikes, as well as a lift. Incredible ryokan experience! We loved the tranquil scenery which overlooked Lake Biwa. Breakfast and dinner were exceptional and traditional. We stayed two nights and the meals were never repeated. We loved the in room outdoor onsen overlooking the lake and the massage chair was a nice touch. A very relaxing stay. The staff was very friendly and really tried to speak English to us. We had no communication barriers. Will definitely return and highly recommend this ryokan. Very memorable experience.

The coin laundry and vending machines were very conveniently close. The free instant meals helped when I had no time to buy dinner upon arrival.

Located in Ritto, within 27 km of Daigo-ji Temple and 28 km of Shoren-in Temple, HOTEL ROUTE-INN KUSATSU RITTO - Ritto interchange Route 1 - provides accommodation with a restaurant and free WiFi... This is the best hotel that we have stayed in so far. The staff is so polite. We booked for only 2 adults and 1 child. For some reason, the day we stayed had to be 3 children. They didn't charge us, but they politely said that the room we booked have a sofa. Some of us can sleep there and be careful not to fall. The morning buffet was so delicious! We really had a great time.
