It’s a lovely, quiet oasis. I liked that there is a community kitchen and fridge, and you just mark how many drinks you’ve taken from the fridge and settle up later.

Located only a 5-minute walk from Oaxaca City’s Zocalo plaza, the centrally located Las Mariposas Hotel & Studios offers guests free WiFi, drinking water and local calls. Simply outstanding atmosphere, the staff kindness was a warm welcoming in my first trip to Oaxaca. It’s perfect if you are travelling alone, since you will meet a community of very interesting guests who are choosing Las Mariposas since many years for their holidays in town. The location is definitely one of the best, very close to the heart of Oaxaca, and despite that, at night my room was very silent and peaceful. I couldn’t chose a better place to spend my vacation, and I will definitely come back in the future!

Cabañas Punta Placer is located in San Agustinillo Beach and 1 km distance from Mazunte town in the Oaxaca Riviera. It features a private beach area and a furnished terrace. San Augustinillo beach is top tier and the ability to be right on it is a unique offering. Really liked my room. Given that you are right on the beach the waves are loud (which I found soothing), but other than that did not have issues with noise while sleeping.

Los Pilares Hotel is located in a charming colonial-style Oaxacan house in the neighborhood of Jalatlaco with a small outdoor pool and free onsite parking. Oaxaca Bus Station is 450 metres away. Beautiful property and hotel. Wonderful location for those interested in Jalatlaco or staying just slightly out of the center. Incredibly kind and helpful staff! Thank you for a wonderful stay! Highly recommend!

The charming El Diablo y la Sandia B&B is situated in a colonial house in downtown Oaxaca. The guest house offers free Wi-Fi access. Wonderful place! Perfect location, very nice staff, everything well organized and somehow super like being at home kind of vibe. Amazing breakfast in the morning, very clean room and all the necessary appliances. Id love to come back! Strongly recommend this place
