Tiny Houses in Florence

Our stay at Casa del Nonno was wonderful. The fully renovated cottage is charming and nestled in the heart of the Tuscan countryside, providing an atmosphere of complete relaxation. The location is ideal if you have a car: from here, we were able to easily visit cities like Florence, Pisa, Vinci, the charming villages of Chianti, San Gimignano, Arezzo, and Cortona. Despite the somewhat steep and unpaved country roads, the breathtaking views along the way made the journey even more special. The hospitality was impeccable. The family who welcomed us made us feel right at home, showing us all the amenities available: from the coffee maker with coffee, oil, salt, and vinegar, to personal care products like shampoo, conditioner, and soaps, and even dishwashing and laundry detergents. A detail we truly appreciated was the welcome aperitif with salami, cheese, and local wine—such a thoughtful gesture that made us feel pampered. As a sweet final surprise, on our last day, they brought us two delicious portions of homemade apple cake. The local restaurant recommendations were also incredibly helpful and led us to discover some great spots in the area.
