The location is idyllic, with fantastic views and a feeling of being right in the heart of shikoku. Myself and a friend arrived on Halloween alongside another set of bikepackers, and the facilities were more than sufficient to sort our clothes and gear out after riding over in a rainstorm. Rooms are a traditional style beautifully kept with lovely views. The owners were extremely accommodating and even invited us to a halloween party, offering to drive us all down. We went and had a great time! Huge thanks to everyone for that, it was honestly the highlight of our whole trip and we felt so welcomed. We met a lot of interesting and kind people. If anyone is cycling shikoku and looking for a place to stop, this is an absolutely perfect location for it, set in the middle of a lot of choice cycling destinations, or as a halfway point between kochi and matsuyama as we did.
