Located in Vlátos, 23 km from Kissamos / Kasteli Port, Μilia Mountain retreat provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. What is not to like here? In the beautiful nature this wonderful eco hotel. With an angel behind the reception. We came hiking but made a mistake in the timing so she put us in her car and drove all the way back to fetch our car. That is great hospitality. The food was really wonderful. Completely different from the more touristic Greek way of cooking. During our stay in Greece we never had such good meals as in this restaurant. From the hotel you can do several hikes. The instructions for these hikes are available at the reception. The room was nice with a good bed with soft and crisp sheets and wonderful thick towels.

Sifis Studios is situated on the beachfront in Palaiochóra, a few steps from Pachia Ammos and 46 km from Kissamos / Kasteli Port. This 2-star hotel features free WiFi and a terrace. Perfect location. Had rooms allocated next to eachother as travelling as family. Was exactly as described. Staff friendly, efficient and accommodating. Great place to stay when staying in Palaiochora.

Situated in Elafonisi, 28 km from Kissamos / Kasteli Port, Fairytale Elafonisi features accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a shared lounge. This place sits in a tiny village in the mountains close the the famous Elafonisi beach and is perfect for a romantic / family getaway. The owners greeted us for check in and were very personable and warm. They also provide a lovely homemade breakfast if desired. Unfortunately we only stayed one night this time but will be back next year!

The hotel was superb, with the most friendly hosts I've met ever. You'll find literally everything you'll need for beach relaxation: travel information, fruits, sunscreen, beach umbrella, beach towel, volleyball, books, toys, etc. And the ladies cleaned up the room so well. The location is 9 min walk to the busstation and 7 min walk to SYNKA, where you can purchase neccessities with local prices. Definitely a 10 of 10, especially considering the reasonable prices of the stay. Wish the ladies all the best.

The location was excellent – not far from Chania Airport and very close to the center of Chania. It's a peaceful area with great restaurants and shops nearby, plus a little fruit stand just next door. The host was absolutely amazing! Her warm energy made us feel like we were visiting family on holiday. We felt truly at home – I can't remember ever experiencing such hospitality. As a welcome gift, we received delicious homemade apricots, ice cream, and even a small fan toy for our child. At breakfast, we had the chance to try some local homemade cheese, which was a lovely touch. The apartment was cleaned daily, very spacious, and beautifully decorated. You can walk to the beach in your swimsuit, where you'll find free sunbeds and beach towels waiting for you. Simply amaziiing!

Located in Plaka, within 1.2 km of Almirida Beach and 39 km of Archaeological Museum of Rethymno, Emerald provides accommodation with a garden as well as free private parking for guests who drive. The view was spectacular. The food was absolutely delicious and reasonably priced. Charming room with precious little balcony and again the view! The pool was crystal clear and it was lovely to see the pool with the backdrop of the ocean. The people were so friendly and helped us with calling a taxi etc.

Lena and Elias treated us like family, and I truly mean that. They are amazing. I can't recommend this stay more highly. We had an amazing time and will absolutely stay with them again. We have never felt more welcomed. Location was great, we were close to old town Chania, very close walking distance to a gym (which was nice, Olympiko, 30 euros for one week), Lidl, and an "American" style bar called Legends. The view is unparalleled and breakfast with our hosts and the other guests was priceless.
