A recently renovated property, A Ridosso dei Sassi is set in Matera near Matera Cathedral, MUSMA Museum and Tramontano Castle. We absolutely loved everything about our stay! The apartment was spotless, beautifully designed, and perfectly located just a short walk from the Sassi. It had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. But what truly made the experience exceptional was the host. He was incredibly kind, attentive, and helpful from the moment we arrived until our departure. Always available to answer any questions, give recommendations, and make sure we felt at home. It’s rare to find such a genuinely welcoming person! We would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Matera. Thank you for making our stay unforgettable!

It’s super clean and you can see the detail of deep cleaning.( shinny bathroom and even the table in the balcony) the private parking is a big plus and just 5 minutes walk to the center. Super quiet, no noise from neighbors. Easy communication with the owner via WhatsApp.

Everything is great. Beautiful and very clean appartment and we really like the welcoming cake and sweets. The appartment is nicely decorated to a very high standard, and Margherita was very helpful and kind.

Close to everything in Matera. 5 minute walk to center. From there you can venture all the side streets and to old part of Matera. Very beautiful at night. Very comfortable for us, a family of 4. Host saved us a spot for our car when we arrived. Very hot when we were there, but place has air conditioning, which kept us cool for comfy sleep.

This is a great place. New, spotless, well-equipped, with the kindest owner who came and found us when we got lost! Just steps outside the city centre and at a very fair price. Grazie!

La perla di tufo asub Materas, vähem kui 1 km kaugusel Matera katedraalist, 16-minutilise jalutuskäigu kaugusel MUSMA muuseumist ja 1,2 km kaugusel Casa Grotta nei Sassist. If you want to experience authentic Matera vibe than you should definitely stay in La perla del tufo. The apartment is huge, walls and ceiling built from limestone (tufo), with beautiful interior design. Nothing is missing here, super clean, perfectly located and free parking is a huge bonus if you are driving to Matera. Roberto, the owner, was a star of the day. Besides his limited knowledge of English he managed to explain to us everything that we needed to know. If we ever come back to Matera we will definitely stay again in La perla del tufo. After 3 weeks of traveling thru southern italy, we booked this apartment, and it didn't disappoint . IT was by far the best stay of our entire trip!!..Beautiful apartment, super well equipped, immaculately clean, beautiful bathroom.. Great working Wi-Fi. nice view of the countryside from the balcony ..Nice terrace in front with outdoor furniture.. A washing machine was available at no extra cost..Secure parking inside property accessible with remote control.. Electric shutters on windows .The fridge was stocked with water and fruit juices , jams, and yogurts for breakfast at your own leisure in the apartment.. The espresso machine is there too with pods and milk . Croissants and various little cookies for breakfast also .It is all set up if you want to cook and well equipped..It's about 6 kms ( about 8 min) from the sights in Matera ,we chose not to stay in the city and didn't regret it..Accessing the sights in Matera from here is very easy , there are Parking structures available all around and very close just a couple of blocks away... THE host are gracious and obviously take great pride in their business, and it shows .We highly recommend this B&B when visiting this area .Thank you, Giusy and husband, for making this an exceptional 2 nights stay..

Konditsioneeriga Lo scorcio sul Barisano asub Materas, 800 meetri kaugusel Matera katedraalist ja vähem kui 1 km kaugusel MUSMA muuseumist. Cant find one little thing that we didnt like. Location - amazing, 500m from the garage, 20 steps away from amazing panoramic view of Matera. Apartment is gorgeous, clean and beautifully decorated. We couldnt have asked for more. Breakfast is tipical Italian with coffee, cornetto and biscuits.

Terrassiga L'angolo di Cinzia asub Materas, vaid 1,9 km kaugusel Sant' Agostino kloostrist ja Matera Centrale raudteejaamast. Matera katedraal ja MUSMA muuseum on umbes 2,3 km kaugusel. The apartment was sparkling clean, calm neighborhood, has free parking in front of it, good for sleeping, with mosquito nets, has everything you want to feel like you're at home, fully equipped kitchen, comfy bed, good wifi. Wonderful hosts that respect your privacy and gave us welcoming snacks. 10/10

Located in Matera, 80 metres from Palombaro Lungo and 500 metres from Tramontano Castle, Sui Lecci provides accommodation with free WiFi in a historic building. elegant palazzo right in the middle of town and only a stones throw away from the sassi. I was ready to move in permanently!!!
