The cooking demonstration was a really lovely addition. Food was super delicious. Little bit out of town (10-15 min tuktuk) but worth it for the setup and peaceful environment.

Nice ambience with a homely feeling with great assistance from caretaker Mr. Nalini and delicious food by Mr. Chellayya. The brinjal moju was amazing. Constant follow-up and updates from Kanchana is highly appreciated. The mornings are welcome by peacock sound from the bushes from the rear of the residence.

The room very really nice, lots of light, lots of space, nice big bathroom, big balcony with a beautiful view. And the owner is so sweet and kind. She brought me tea and food and was just the nicest host you could ever meet. I really didn’t want to leave. This is the best place I’ve stayed at in a long time!

Located within 1.4 km of Kandy Royal Botanic Gardens and 6.1 km of Kandy railway station, Hebron Gardens House offers rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Kandy. Very beautiful place, it is near the botanical garden so you can go there by foot. I was feeling like home, perfect place if you have kids, they can do painting, also very secure place

I recently stayed at a lovely ancestral home that felt like a serene and peaceful haven—tucked away from the hustle and bustle yet in a very convenient location. The host and manager were wonderfully responsive and easy to deal with, ensuring seamless communication and check‑in. From the charming decor to the tranquil ambiance, it truly felt like home and left me feeling refreshed and grateful. The meals were another highlight - every dish was delicious and thoughtfully prepared, adding a warm and satisfying touch to the stay. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful, comfortable retreat with great hospitality and great food.

Housed in a historic building, the recently renovated Tea Heritage features accommodation with pool with a view and free WiFi. We stayed at Tea Heritage for our honeymoon, and it truly felt magical. The setting is incredibly picturesque, surrounded by lush greenery and peaceful views. Usually, hotels in Sri Lanka feel a bit outdated, but this property is brand new with a beautiful contemporary design. In Europe, a glass pavilion like this would easily cost a minimum of USD 2,000 per night — we feel so lucky to have found this gem for such a great price. The nature trail experience was unforgettable, with Jagath Nishantha and Vinoda doing a fantastic job explaining the flora, fauna, and history along the way. And the food — oh, the food! Dinushika’s mouthwatering dishes were the highlight of our stay; we loved every bite. The place is immaculate, spacious, and the huge swimming pool makes it even more special. We absolutely loved it and can’t wait to return.

Kandy Nest Stay Home is set in the City Centre district of Kandy, 1.9 km from Sri Dalada Maligawa, 4.6 km from Bogambara Stadium and 4.7 km from Kandy City Center Shopping Mall. Perfect place to stay! We were lucky to spend almost one week there. 2 comfortable bedrooms, private bathroom, and a saloon appreciable to read or playing cards. Well situated, can go easily in city center walking or by bus. All the family is really super kind, taking care and making all they can for that we feel like at home… and it works! We felt like at our parent’s home. We highly recommand and we never say enough MERCI!

My wife and I spent two days at Rainbow Villa in Mahiyangana. It was a very nice accommodation. There were large rooms with beautiful fresh air conditioning. There were several special places that could be visited on foot from the accommodation. This accommodation had a beautiful kitchen. There were all the ingredients to make tea. This villa had the ability to cook food. We also got clean drinking water. The washroom in this villa was a place where we could clean our minds. The water in the bathroom was also good. There was hot water in the bathroom. The Mahiyangana Rajamaha Viharaya was within walking distance. Since the Mahiyangana Sorabora Lake was located very close to this villa, we were able to take a bath. The owner of this villa was very humble and kind and provided us with all the facilities we needed with a smile. We had good security. We got the food we needed very deliciously. The past two days are a beautiful memory that will never be forgotten in life. We will come back to Rainbow Villa soon. Thank you for all the hospitality. We recommend Rainbow Villa as the best place to get accommodation in Mahayanganaya with confidence.
