The hosts are very friendly; we were delighted by the little gift waiting on the table when we arrived: neatly wrapped wafers, a jar of delicious raspberry jam, and a souvenir magnet. ❤️ Everything’s super—100% recommend. ❤️ The stairs up to the bedroom are a bit steep, but that’s nothing compared to all the positives. 😉

I wish I could magically wake up every weekend in Alvis' home in Aglona.. What a wonderful place! We loved absolutely everything about it : the house itself is so comfortable and full of history, the nature that surrounds it and all the lovely areas set up to enjoy it are so peaceful and outstandingly beautiful, black banya is an unforgettable experience, the town is quiet but with everything one might need and so many things to explore. This place is heaven for anyone who would like to slow down and enjoy what really matters: peace and quiet, natural beauty and good company. We had the warmest welcome, Alvis was so thoughtful and always made sure we were comfortable and never had to worry about anything. I am truly grateful for his kindness and hospitality! I wish we had stayed longer, but I have a feeling it's not the last time we visited this place :)

We stayed in a lovely lakeside cabin in Latgale with four adults, and it was perfect. The cabin has been nicely renovated, offering a cozy and comfortable stay. The property is spacious, with plenty of activities to enjoy – free bikes, boats, and SUP boards are available for guests. There’s also a covered gazebo, a barbecue area, and a great playground with small houses, slides, and climbing frames for children. The hostess is absolutely wonderful – kind, welcoming, and always ready to help. We can wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone looking to escape into nature and spend quality time in a peaceful setting. And if the sky is clear, you’ll be treated to the most stunning sunsets over the lake – truly unforgettable.

We rented the sauna with the hot tub — everything was top-notch. The place has all you need for a comfortable stay. The views of the lake in the evening are absolutely stunning, and you can enjoy them right from the hot tub. It’s peaceful and secluded, perfect for unwinding. There’s also a nice BBQ area. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and attentive. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet and cozy getaway.
