A beautiful view from the city down below, a gorgeous pool and a well kept landscape. The room was very cozy and beautifully decorated. It had a large bathroom and a kitchen/TV area that opened to the patio. Hosts were very prompt and usually replied within minutes. This place is a true find!

It was as described, 1 bedroom, small kitchen great size shower and a very private patio. Maria João and David were splendid hosts always very pleasant and willing to provide information about the Alentejo region and food. We were greeted with fresh pomegranates grown on the property, tea and cookies!

The host was extremely gracious, kind, friendly and helpful. She gave us a lot of tips and information. She was available whenever we needed any suggestion or help. There is ample access controlled parking. Lisbon is about 45 minutes away but the area itself(Sesimbra) is superb! We hope to come here again!

From the moment we arrived, we were surrounded by beautiful landscapes, fresh air, and a peaceful atmosphere that made for a perfect escape from the city. The bungalows are charming, well-designed, and offer a great balance between rustic style and modern comfort. We spent our days relaxing, exploring the stunning surroundings, and simply enjoying the tranquility of nature. The mornings were especially magical—waking up to the sounds of birds and having breakfast with a breathtaking view was a highlight of our stay. The staff was friendly and welcoming, making sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable experience. If you're looking for a relaxing getaway in nature with all the comforts of a cozy retreat, Herdade do Moinho Novo is the perfect place. We can't wait to visit again!
