We had a wonderful stay at Casa da FÁ 2. The location is very good, right on the main street of Pinhão, so only a few meters away from the supermarket and nearest restaurants. Despite of that, the upper apartment we were in, was oriented away from the road, facing the calmer side with a beautiful view of the river. There was a small table with chairs on the little terrace, where we could enjoy wine with the lovely scenery. The interior of the apartment is newly rebuilt, very well designed and decorated. The apartment was perfectly clean, and the beds were very comfortable. In the fully furnished kitchen, we could use beautifully decorated plates and cups. As a welcome gift we got a bottle of home port wine. The communication with the landlord was very quick and we got always help and answers if we needed anything. The whole house has its own history and character, which made our stay even more special. We would definitely stay at this place again in the future. Thank you for a memorable experience.

EVERYTHING! fabulous staff, accommodations, and great wine. Fernanda was so warm and welcoming we felt right at home from the minute we arrived.

D'Autor Village on hiljuti renoveeritud villa, mis asub Valadares'is, Douro muuseumist 26 km kaugusel. Basseinist avaneb vaade mägedele. The property was immaculately presented and maintained. On a working orchard where fruit was readily available to pick and consume also sit and relax amongst, the entire stay is rated one of the very best we have ever experienced. The original Portuguese village made it feel like we were transported back in time, beautifully renovated with luxury products, finishes and furniture left us not wanting for anything more. The hotel was full however never once felt crowded - amazing selection at breakfast with a wonderful view over the property and valley below. Our family of four adults were very comfortable spending time together, with plenty of individual activities and areas to explore roaming always in awe of the natural beauty of the village and grounds. There wasn’t anything the staff wouldn’t do to assist in maximising our experience. Cooking facilities in the villas along with community kitchen and cooking for outdoor alfresco options were immaculately keeled and readily available for use. The pool zone was tranquil with flowing mountain spring water keeping it cool for the summer days. (High temperatures in the region of 39-40 degree heat plenty of shade to protect from the sun) Conveniently location near the Douro River and vineyards. The kind gift of arrival of in-house Blueberry Jam and teas was amazing also the signature bottle of white wine was a lovely and welcomed treat which was chilled and enjoyed after a long day of exploring the region on the warm summer night in our private courtyard. We could not fault our four night stay and can not wait to return on our next trip to visit family in the region.
