Situated in Victoria and only 7.7 km from Seychelles National Botanical Gardens, Tropical Garden Self Catering features accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. The location might be a hit or miss depending on what you are looking for - we came to spend a few days in Tropical Garden Self-Catering after we had already spent a week on Praslin and La Digue in accomodations located near the ocean and beaches, so the fact that Tropical Garden is located at a distance from any nearest beach and up in the mountains was not a drawback for us. Quite on the contrary: we noticed that at a higher altitude (around 330 metres ASL) the air in the morning was a bit more fresh and cool than at the sea level. Tropical Garden Self Catering, true to its name, is located within a beautiful garden from which we were encouraged by our hostess to pick starfruit straight from the tree. It has a breathtaking view of the mountains from its balcony. It is spacious and tastefully furnished, clean and cosy. The hostess Flossy is the heart and soul of this place - she gave us the most heartfelt welcome, taking time to explain which beaches are safe to swim, which trails she recommends for hiking, which buses to take to go to Victoria or to the nearest beach she recommends for swimming and snorkelling (Port Launay). When on one day wi-fi stopped working, she was on the phone with us and quickly resolved the issue. She organised a taxi for us, asking the driver on our behalf to take us to the hypermarket in Victoria and wait for us while we did our grocery shopping before taking us to the accomodation. We did not rent a car on Mahe and still managed to see most of the island travelling by bus - the bus stop is located witihin about 8 minutes walking distance from the accomodation. You just need to devote some time to study the SPTC bus schedule but once you decode it, there is no stopping you from seeing every corner of Mahe!

Everything was exceptional - this is a very pleasant place to stay. The apartment is new and clean. The moments that we also liked are: comfy mattress for sleeping, fully equipped kitchen and the panoramic terace. The location is perfect as well - it's only about 5 minutes walk from the Beau Vallon beach. The owner, Daphne, was very helpful and friendly with our family.

Located in Mahe and only 1.2 km from Turtle Bay Beach, Bois Joli provides accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. Richard has created a beautiful hideaway in the hills, and Judith is a thoughtful host. The private pool was a delight.

Located in Au Cap and only a few steps from Turtle Bay Beach, Cap-sud self catering provides accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. Bessy is such a sweet host. We were allowed to drop off our bags earlier, as we were way too early for check-in. She also helpedbus book a cab to the airport on our last day, and we were allowed to do laundry! One day she also offered us fresh fruit from the garden, which all tasted amazing. The skins could be fed to the tortoises out in the garden. The apartment itself was amazingly spacious. A comfortable couch for the evenings, a massive kitchen with anything you will ever need, 2 balconies and a very large bedroom with en suite bathroom. Airconditioning in both living room and bedroom made these areas very comfortable when staying in one of these rooms. The location of the apartment is oerfect for getting around the island. We didn't have a car, but there are bus stops at the end of the road so you can get anywhere you want. Also nice restaurants and craft brewery within walking distance, which we really recommend! Takamaka and Craft Village are also nearby.

Set within 400 metres of Northolme Beach and 6.3 km of Victoria Clock Tower, Mouggae Blues Villas offers rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Beau Vallon. The photos don’t do the property justice. Spacious and very well decorated. The property was well equipped with everything you need. Beach facing balcony was beautiful. The location is easily accessible from the airport, there is a supermarket close by, the beach is across the road and a number of restaurants available within walking distance. I didn’t use the bus, but there was a bus stop right by the property. The hosts were very accommodating and so friendly. Thank you for making my stay so memorable.

Offering pool views, Maison L'Horizon is an accommodation set in De Quincey Village, 3.4 km from Victoria Clock Tower and 5 km from Seychelles National Botanical Gardens. wonderful view. Super pool. nice room. location is good, quiet.

Located in Baie Lazare Mahé, Hillside Retreat is a villa with free WiFi and units equipped with a kitchen, balcony and seating area. Complimentary private parking is available on site. It was nice, owners are nice and helpful. We liked the south more than north so I can only recommend it.

Villa Kordia is located at Pointe aux Sel and offers Creole styled accommodation in landscaped garden, just 5 minutes’ drive from Anse Royale. The Seychelles Airport is 8 km away. The location was by far our favorite part. We had a car which we rented for such a good price from the owners who also came to talk to us personally and meet us, show us the fruit in the garden and clean and chop it for us to eat and gave us curry leave to use. So so personal. And Denise the manager was always there to help. Such a lovely woman. Bought fruit from the rasta next door who looks after the garden. Best coconuts so sweet. As I said we rented a car and drove about the whole island many times. Besides anse Solei beach which was magical the fairyland beach was lovely and the beach across from us so serine. Probably wouldn't stay anywhere else if I was going back
