Hampton Inn Spartanburg Hotel, hotel in Spartanburg

Located 5 miles from Walnut Grove Plantation, Hampton Inn Spartanburg Hotel has a seasonal outdoor pool and free hot breakfast. The bright, spacious guest rooms are fitted with flat-screen TVs.

Room was clean and beds were comfortable. I really liked the soap and lotion dispensers in bathroom rather than individually packed one. Better for the environment. The breakfast was great with variety foods to pick from. Warm eggs omelette, waffles, fruits, grits etc.

Spartanburg was beautiful, however my accommodations were awful. The Suites Inn was disgusting the shower and sink were filthy. The floors were absolutely abominable, I skated on two towels to keep my feet clean. The bed pillows and blankets stunk of smoke so bad. There were batteries hanging out the back of the entry door...I absolutely deserve a refund for this "stay". The refrigerator stunk like something died in it and the microwave had crap on the top inside of it. Absolutely, hands down do NOT recommend staying at this flop house again...DISGUSTING.

We went a few blocks from the hotel and the street was closed off. There were tables and chairs in the street. AWESOME food choices and beverages. We had an enjoyable afternoon enjoying the outdoors. Hotel staff did not even mention this area when asked about local restaurants.

This is a stunningly beautiful town with lots of culture.

This is a stunningly beautiful town with lots of culture. Main Street has 50 bars and restaurants within about a half mile walking distance. Easy access, wide variety of food and drinks, live music playing at lunch, early evening, and late night, amazing musicians, Nu-Way bar, only a few blocks away from downtown is where The Marshall Tucker Band cut their teeth. I watched, met and played with Spartanburg's best musicians. (Thanks, Clay!) If you play music or love to watch live blues, rock, country, etc, you'll enjoy every single day. Plenty of sightseeing, and some of the nicest, most accommodating, friendly, and generous people I've ever met in my life. This place is FLAT gorgeous!

We were travelling and only spending one night here. There are a lot of different restaurants right off of the interstate. Everything is very easy to get to. There is a lot of traffic in this area so we actually passed the restaurant we were going to and had to turn around and try again.

It was a nice quite location. I decided to stay somewhere in South Carolina during my Smokey Mountains vacation because I had never been to that state before (or North Carolina) before this trip. On a quest to be in all 50 states in my lifetime, only got 2 left! I wanted to see Spartanburg and I wanted a room with a jacuzzi, because I knew I’d have sore muscles from all my hiking . The hotel served its purpose. I don’t get a chance to use the pool. I would have if I had more time.

The location was perfect. I did not do breakfast, but I did buy drinks at the bar which was nice. I loved the large tv, however, the channel had no information for the channels so surfing channels was a bit of an inconvenience. The bed was very comfortable and the other room amenities (microwave, mini-fridge, coffee maker, iron) made the stay very comfortable. Also, the staff and housekeeping were great. The hotel as a whole was clean and welcoming.

The breakfast was very tasty, but the pancake machine was broken. I also enjoyed the chocolate chip cookies upon my arrival. I had a problem with cleanliness in my room, but the situation was rectified. I would stay there again the next time that I am in Spartanburg.

This area in Spartanburg is shady. The property seems to have a lot of permanent working residents. The room was swept and wiped clean. The bed felt like a 'futon' mattress. The wifi was sufficient for our overnight. We went to another exit to find dinner.

The location is spot on, we originally booked at AC Marriott because of its location and rating. The hotel overall was a very pleasant experience. We did although find some left behind trash in our room. That brought the experience to a screaming halt.
