We stayed in a "budget apartment" which was more than we needed for a weekend stay. The word "budget" could be removed from the title of the booking - in a highly competitive price we have got two rooms, equipped kitchen, toilet with amenities, even sleepers and welcome water. Everything clean and cosy. In addition a lot of free parking spaces. We have highly enjoyed the atmosphere of the hotel - kind of mysterious ghost hotel, reminding movies by David Flynch. There was a mystery there, but from the other hand a lot of pictures showing old good times of the hotel, full of rich people enjoying the stay. Yes - with no shadow of hesitation we can recommend this place and hopefully we will come there again.

Mountain-view apartments at La Sciora come with wood-beamed ceilings, an LED TV, and a kitchenette. The private bathroom has free toiletries plus a hairdryer. Excellent location in the downtown of Chiavenna - very close to the train and bus station. A nice supermarket with lots of local products just cross the square. The apartment is very clean, spacy and well-equipped with A/C and home appliances (microwave, washing machine ...). The owner (Mauro) is a nice person.
