Our second visit and loved it again. Just about our favourite place that we have ever stayed in 25 years of travelling the world. The peace and quiet is so calming but you are still within 15 minutes of swimming beaches, surfing beaches, great food and wonderous volcanic landscapes. House is simple and basic but the outside area is perfect. Shade for when it's too hot, shelter from the wind and a lovely fire to cook on. Added bonus of a family of cats who were kittens last year when we were here and are still tame and friendly. Bring cat food if you want cat company!

Beautiful quiet surrounding, I love the lava structure in the living room. The kitchen window is at ground level and it feels like having a live terrarium. Friendly cat that likes to greet you outside.

Super nice freshly renovated home in the middle of the island, a quiet location and only a 15 min drive to any location! The place was super clean and comfortable, we really enjoyed our stay here. We were super happy to use the kitchen and make our own breakfast :) The host is really kind as well and made us feel very welcomed.

This is a unique property constructed in the owners' style, arty and environmentally suitable for the age and blending with the terrain of the island. Artefacts and books have been collected lovingly over a period of time. The actual space is huge and the owners have chosen not to maximise their potential earnings by retaining the features and space of the original property and not sub-dividing further. We even had our own garden. Don't expect standard holiday accommodation. This is much more than that. This place became a central focus of stimulation and interest for our holiday.
