We visited Sambuca on the weekend of the town's centuries-old annual festival of The Madonna. Parking was nearly impossible to find, but our host held a free street parking spot for us, right next to our building, until our arrival. The location is within 100 yards of the main thoroughfare of Sambuca and walkable to most of the city sites. The apartment is plenty large for two or three people, clean and quiet. You get a very secure feeling as you pass through three locking doors to your room. The room isn't fancy, but the size, location and comfort for the price makes it a very good choice.

Wonderful biking! We rented two mountain bikes and from this 3-level apartment we made everyday trips to some cities and beaches each 25-60 km roundtrips. In the evening afterwards a nice jacuzzi for relaxing the muscles. On the rooftop a astonishing view over the beautiful landscape of Sicilia and wine yards

The apartment-casa is within a museum within old Arab town providing opportunity to learn about this time in Sicilian history - very accessible - walks exploring the maze of streets. Support of the casa by Planta winery. Host was very welcoming and immediately connected us a cooking class at La Foresteria - Planeta wine estate and dinner at the restaurant. Both were excellent. Chef teaching the class - Angelo- was informative and fun; the lunch that was included was awesome. The interior design of the apartment is by artists and gorgeous. Bed is comfortable, bathroom large and lots of hot water. It has all you need to cook a dinner or breakfast. Excellent walking location within town. Very quiet. Easy access up a few stairs; parking right outside the apartment on the street.

Great little apartment next to the Belvedere Terrace. Clean, modern and well appointed. Hosts were friendly and easy to deal with.
