This privately run, 4-star hotel in the elegant Rodenkirchen district of Cologne offers stylish accommodations next to the Rhine river, just a 10-minute drive away from the city center. The hotel is at an incredible neighborhood, everybody is very friendly(both the hotel staff and the citizens. There is a Rewe(supermarket) very close and lots of bakeries nearby, if for some reason someone would prefer not having breakfast at the hotel. The tram that goes to Köln center is only 9 ninutes away (on foot)! The room was very nicely designed and I loved the floor materials and the way they changed between rooms. One for the small room when you enter, reminding of the japanese Genkan, another for the room and a different one for the bathroom.

Rheinblick Apartments is located in Cologne offering a river view from all the rooms. The property is 3.1 mi from Cologne Cathedral and the Cologne Main Railway Station. I enjoyed the view on the Rhein & calm surroundings. In the building in front of the terrace seems to be offices. It means that whenever the door to the terrace is open singing birds are to be heard, next to sometimes the sound of ships going up and down the river. Very calming area. The staff was helpful and reactive. Easy check out with no contact. The keys were to be left on the dining table and the apartment door to be shut. I found this very convenient. Thank you for the help during the stay.

Excellent sweeping views over the river Rhine. Free parking but also close to two tram routes that connect rapidly to Cologne and Bonn. Pleasant locality.
