This hotel offers stylish and modern accommodation in the district of Rodenkirchen, in the southern outskirts of Cologne. Hotel was good, staff was friendly and everyone spoke fluent English which made it really easy for us to communicate in all aspects. Comfortable beds and really big pillows. Also the coffee machine in the room was a really good add-on.

Offering free Wi-Fi, this hotel is just a 5-minute walk from the River Rhine in the Rodenkirchen district of Cologne. Traditional cuisine is served in the restaurant. A small single room in an area about 20min from city centre by train. Good facilities close by, albeit I was there on a weekend when a lot of businesses were closed. Parking in a public car space across from hotel at hourly rates, but free down the road in a side road. Good host once you found him (reception in a restaurant/bar alongside entrance), excellent breakfast on day one (a Sunday), okay on day 2.

Rheinblick Apartments is located in Cologne offering a river view from all the rooms. The property is 5 km from Cologne Cathedral and the Cologne Main Railway Station. I enjoyed the view on the Rhein & calm surroundings. In the building in front of the terrace seems to be offices. It means that whenever the door to the terrace is open singing birds are to be heard, next to sometimes the sound of ships going up and down the river. Very calming area. The staff was helpful and reactive. Easy check out with no contact. The keys were to be left on the dining table and the apartment door to be shut. I found this very convenient. Thank you for the help during the stay.
